We are absolutely delighted to shine a spotlight on another incredible local business that means the world to our team as they join our football family as our new Back of Shirt sponsor. 🙌🏻

A massive shoutout to Deb, Claire, and the entire team at , and a huge congratulations on their recent grand opening of their fantastic new bar, "W!ld Lounge!" 🎉🥂🐅

When it comes to celebrating off the pitch, Flavour has truly become our absolute favourite go-to destination. Whether we are gathering for our regular team meals, throwing a party, or marking those extra-special occasions and milestones, Deb, Claire and their team always go above and beyond to make us feel incredibly welcome. The fantastic food, the brilliant service, and the vibrant atmosphere are simply second to none, making every single team get-together unforgettable.
Now, with the addition of the stunning new W!ld Lounge, they have taken things to a whole new level! We couldn't be more excited for them.

Seeing local, independent businesses thrive and expand is what makes our community so special, and we are so proud to support them.

Much like our time playing together, these moments spent bonding as a team off the pitch are vital for building the friendships and team spirit that drive us forward.
Having a welcoming, lively space right here in town to celebrate our successes and laugh together is something we cherish deeply. It’s connections like these that make being part of this team so rewarding.

Please join us in wishing Deb, Clare, and the Flavour team the biggest congratulations on their exciting new venture.

If you're looking for the perfect spot for your next meal out, a special celebration, or just a fantastic night out, look no further. Be sure to check out Flavour and the brilliant new W!ld Lounge—we guarantee you’ll see our team in there celebrating again very soon!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we are continuing our fantastic partnership with Lucy, Mike, and the wonderful team at The Miners Arms pub Workington! 🎉🍻⛏️🕯️

Last season, they generously stepped up to sponsor our teams rain jackets, keeping the squad dry and looking sharp through the worst of the weather.
But our relationship with Lucy and Mike has grown into something so much deeper than just a standard local sponsorship.

The Miners Arms has genuinely become a home away from home for our players and coaches. The warm, friendly atmosphere and undeniable welcoming charm make it the perfect place to unwind.
We love the vibe in there so much that heading down for a well-earned drink together has become our absolute favourite tradition after every single training session. You simply cannot beat their incredible hospitality!

True friendships like the one we share with Lucy and Mike highlight exactly why grassroots community connections are so deeply important in our area. It’s about so much more than just the sport we play; it’s about mutual support and bringing people together.

The way the local community embraces us and thinks of us as their team is something we never take for granted, and local businesses like The Miners Arms are the absolute heartbeat of that support.

Because of this incredible bond, we are beyond excited to share that their logo won’t just remain a proud fixture on our current gear. We are thrilled to announce that The Miners Arms will also feature prominently on our brand-new kit, which we will be officially launching very shortly! 👀👕

Please join us in saying a massive thank you to Lucy and Mike.

We continue our " Meet our sponsors" by welcoming Always Another Way to our football family

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Workington St Josephs Women’s Walking Football is officially welcoming Always Another Way as our new "Club community charity!" 🤝⚽️

Run by the incredible Lyn and her team, Always Another Way is a vital local charity dedicated to improving mental well-being and providing essential support services for adults and young people across West Cumbria.

Lyn and her fantastic team work tirelessly to ensure that no one in our community has to face their struggles alone, creating safe spaces for people to talk, connect, and grow. You can find out all about the life-changing services they offer by visiting their website:

www.alwaysanotherway.org.uk.

At Workington St Joseph's Women's Walking Football Club, we strongly believe that football is about much more than what happens on the pitch. It is about building a supportive community, fostering lifelong friendships, and taking care of both our physical and mental health.
Our club’s values align perfectly with the goals of Always Another Way. We love that Lyn and her team already champion the incredible well-being benefits of staying active through their brilliant support of walking football with the Strollers over at Whitehaven AFC. Seeing the positive impact they've made there has completely inspired us.

Because we believe so strongly in their mission to uplift and support people, we are beyond proud to announce that the Always Another Way logo will take pride of place on the sleeve of our brand-new, upcoming club kit! 👕✨

We simply cannot wait to wear their badge, help raise vital awareness for mental health across West Cumbria, and support Lyn and her team in the phenomenal work they do every day.

Here’s to a fantastic partnership, both on and off the pitch!

🤍💙 ⚽ 💜💙

🏆 NORTH EAST REGIONAL FA CUP WINNERS! 🏆

What. A. Day. 💗💜

A brilliant day for the team as we came away as North East Regional FA Cup Qualifier winners, beating Wansbeck Wanderers in an absolute nail-biter to secure our place at the FA Walking Football Cup Finals at St George’s Park in October! 🏆⚽️

And believe us… this one was every bit as stressful from the sidelines as it was on the pitch! 😅 Our travelling fans and the bench went through every emotion imaginable!

We found ourselves 2–0 up, but Wansbeck showed exactly why they weren’t going down without a fight. After the half time break they battled back to make it 2–2, setting up a tense game for most of the second half.

Both teams gave everything, but the spoils were ours to take as we managed to find that all-important third goal to make it 3–2! 🙌

The final five minutes felt like about 15 😬😂 but we dug deep, stayed together and saw it through.

We did it together. As a team. 💪💗💜

A massive, massive well done to every single person who pulled on a St Joseph’s shirt today. Every tackle, every pass, every save, every goal and every bit of effort played its part. What a squad. ❤️

And to our incredible travelling supporters — THANK YOU! 📣👏
We heard every cheer, every shout of encouragement and every bit of support from the sidelines. You played your part too, and having you there made the day even more special. 💗💜

And as if winning the Regional Cup wasn’t enough… we then headed across to Middlesbrough for the presentation event, where we finally got to celebrate our league victory and collect the silverware! 🏆🥳

Regional Cup winners AND League Champions!

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday! 😍

We’re incredibly proud to be heading to St George’s Park to represent Workington St Joseph’s on the national stage. Another huge moment for this team, another chapter in the journey and another memory we’ll never forget.

A massive thank you to everyone involved in making today so special, special shout out to Martyn Marshall who couldn’t make it today but put all the preparation in as FA Cup team manager, Kate Smith for leading us on the pitch and H for doing a brilliant job as coach and team manager on the sidelines! 💗💜

NEXT STOP… ST GEORGE’S PARK! 🏟️🏆
