FT 4-3 victory for the White Lion today against a physical Rhodesia FC side. Two goals from Joe Wicks in the first half, followed by long range free kicks from Owen Stead and Jack Wicks in the second half to seal the win. Lads did well to stay composed in a heated game. Man of the match goes to Casey Moore, aka the best right back in the league. ⚪️🦁⚽️

Tomorrow sees the lads take on Rhodesia FC in a 2nd Division top of the table clash, down at Outwood Academy Portland. Kick off is at 11:00 and access is via the Sparken Hill entrance ⚪️🦁⚽️

FT 2-1 The lads did well to grind out a win against AFC Innings on Sunday. Goals from Joe Wicks and Jack Wicks with assists from Vik Mlynarski and John McCormack respectively. MOTMs Kieran Maughan and Alex Steeper. All the best for the rest of the season to AFC Innings ⚪️🦁⚽️

Tomorrow sees us seek 3 wins in 4, taking on AFC Innings, as we return to Outwood Academy Portland for our first home game since the start of the month. As always, come down and support the lads; access is via the Sparken Hill entrance. ⚪️🦁⚽️

FT 4-1 victory for the White Lion yesterday against AFC Creswell. Joe Wicks with the opener in the first half, before a Creswell equaliser in the second half. A quick response saw the lads retake the lead following Joe Wicks’ second goal, via an Alex Boyd assist. Super-sub Vik Mlynarski then provided 2 assists for Joe Wicks to complete his hat trick and for Kieron Johnson to seal the 4-1 win. Great debuts for Liam Keeling and Owen Stead. Next up on Sunday; AFC Innings at home. ⚪️🦁⚽️

FT 0-1 Disappointing defeat on Sunday against Rhodesia FC. We were always on for an equaliser right up until the end, but it was just one of those days where it just wouldn’t drop for us. Credit to Kieren Marriott for playing as goalkeeper, after several goalkeepers in the squad became unavailable at short notice. Good luck to Jamie Footitt with his recovery from what appears to be a serious knee injury. ⚽️⚪️🦁
