Hi Everyone! Yes we are still waving our arms around every Sunday apart from bad weather days. As Christmas & New Year approaches, We have decided to take a Tai Chi break, with a one off on the 21st Dec. Returning to normal classes on the 11th Jan, and if I can arrange it, we maybe indoors until around April when weather traditionally improves. Regards Mike 🙏☯
PS. A park photo to inspire you in your lotus kicks 🤣

Just to let you know we are still in the park, but you need to find us. Consider this as your first challenge that shows how much you really want to learn Tai Chi & Qigong. Remember Time and Space are involved in everything we do. 😉🙏☯️

We missed one yesterday I am afraid to say. It should give you aficionados some time to practice alone. Hopefully the weather will be good next weekend, and we’ll be dancing around the park like normal, normal for us anyway. If you want to join in our normal dancing, then please say hello. 😎

We hope that you will decide to join us learning and practicing the benefits of Tai Chi & Qigong and have fun yourself for many years to come. Drop-in, say hello and try a session. It will cost you nothing but time and a little effort as our classes are free of charge. 🙏☯️

A little late! I was thinking I may have well missed the boat? So "HAPPY NEW YEAR" to everyone. And happy Year of the "WOOD SNAKE". I understand it signifies renewal, and I think we all need a bit of that rignt now. Keep Taijiing 🙏 ☯️

My old fave! "Move the body when doing Taiji". If not you may well get “EXTERMINATED” 🤣🙏☯️

Tai Chi Practice

Do you know how a Taiji set begins? It begins with you. First you stand still. Then you move. What follows is a whole rich exploration of movement, an engagement with past masters, the glory of feeling the breath flow—and then you come back to the end and it’s just you. You are who you are. That is beyond labels. Sure you could say your name, or where you’re from, or any other description. But is that you? Is that the person who was just moving? Who you are is beyond all names and categories. That’s what ordinary people don’t understand. They only want to see labels. You’ve been through a silent set of movements that is wordless.
You finish the set and you stand where you are. Confident, strong, proud, rooted in that exact space beneath heaven and upon the earth. Taiji is that combination of heaven, earth, and you, leaving you without doubt.
All you need is to stand where you are.
