We will be starting todays games with a minutes silence in memory of two former team members of Nakelo Spartans team, Taniela and Ponipate who were killed in action in Afghanistan on 15th June 2010.

1 DAY TO GO!!!!
In just over 24 hours we will be starting our rugby 7's, beer and cider festival plus St Barnabas Epic Games day.
We would love for as many of you as possible to come down and support your local club plus a very deserving local charity.
The rugby kicks off 10/10.30 where we have both ladies and mens open and social rugby games going on through out the day.
We would like to thank our event sponsor Amberley Hulme Wealth Management for all their support of the day.
Entry is free before 10am, after then St Barnabas will be asking for your kind donations towards the fantastic work they do day in day out.
To keep the kids amused there are Epic Games, giant inflatable city and much more where you can pay as you go or buy a wrist band for the day.
We have More radio all day providing music and then the fun continues into the evening with Big Yellow Taxi and if you are brave you can pre register for the St Barnabas FireWalk.
Our bars will be open both inside and out providing our usual drink offerings plus loads of festival ales and ciders for you to try. Food will be plenty with several vendors on site all day to keep you full.
We would love the local community to support this event, so leave your cars at home and take a wander over to Roundstone Lane and join the fun.

2 DAYS TO GO!!
We have only 2 days to go till our fantastic day of rugby 7s, beer, cider, music and family fun courtesy of St Barnabas.
The winds will have all blown away after today and we are looking forward to sunshine this weekend.
Gates open at 10am for all spectators.
If you are a playing team then you can register your team between 8am and 9.30 and enjoy a spot of pre game breakfast from the clubhouse kitchen too. All teams must be registered by 9.30am. Games will be starting between 10/10.30, format to be given on the day in case of any last minute changes.
The bars will be open in the main clubhouse, plus outside bar will house all the fantastic festival ales (plus normal offerings) and the stable bar will be full of lovely ciders. Food will also be available all day outside from various vendors.
No matter what time of day you arrive there will be lots to see and do, rugby will be all day with More radio providing music throughout, kids can take part in the Epic Games and support St Barnabas at the same time and in the evening we have the great local band Big Yellow Taxi.
We hope to see as many local people as possible supporting the event, leave the car at home and pop over and enjoy a drink in your local club.
