🏎️ FARNDON SOAPBOX DERBY ‘25 🏎️

It’s that time of year folks!! Sunday 14th September you’ll see us, for the third year running, hurtling down Farndon high street in our cart - Cruella De Farndon and the 101 Netty Heads - raising money for The Hospice Of The Good Shepherd for the most incredible work they do in caring for those with life limiting illnesses with most love and care! Also for lots of great local causes too!
As a village event, last year we raised over an absolutely astonishing £48,500!! Over the 3 years this amazing event has been running, all those involved have raised over a staggering £119,000! Can we raise the bar even higher this year…?? With your help we’re aiming to do just that! Any donations would be so greatly appreciated, the link is in our bio and take a look at our pinned reel to see last years race day…it’s a day to absolutely not miss! Get yourselves to Farndon on the 14th September!!

Here at Netball Club Farndon we are looking to expand our ever growing club, already bursting with fun and friendly men and women with a love of netball but we would absolutely love to welcome in more of you…

So, are you a netballer looking to join a club to continue your netball journey, are you somebody who hasn’t played for years or are you a complete beginner looking to get started…??

Then look no further, we’re here ready to sweep you under our netty wings! With weekly training sessions, teams playing in various mens, mixed and womens leagues across Wrexham, Chester and Malpas and exciting opportunities for Back To Netball sessions to get you started - we have it all!

Nicki and Ste, our PRS and Dolly!
Officially getting married today! We’re sending you all the love in the world and we hope you have the most wonderful day and look forward to the epic celebrations next week!

To mark the occasion Griffo has written you a little poem…(she’ll get it framed for you so you can keep it forever!)…

Nicki and Dolly are tying the knot,
In the morning light, they’ll give it a shot!
They’ve planned and prepped, they’re ready to go,
For a wedding that’s sure to steal the show.

Nicki’s in white, Dolly’s in blue,
They’re excited, nervous—maybe a bit too.
Will the vows be sweet, or will they be silly?
Either way, we’ll all be cheering, “Nicki’s gonna get a good willy!”

A huge huge thank you to Kelpies for travelling such a distance to give us such a great afternoon of great netball.

Yesterday, NCF Men took a proud defeat of 30-19 before the women joined them on court for a mixed tournament.

Thank you to EVERYBODY who made yesterday happen, we absolutely loved it and NCF is really excited to head to Edinburgh to do it all again.

This Saturday we’re so excited to welcome the fabulous Kelpies Edinburgh Netball Club Men for our first friendly tournament of year! We can’t wait to spend the day with you guys!
