MATCHDAY

Today the lads make their Debut in The FAW Amatuer Trophy Qualifying Round 1 vs Cpd Cerrigydrudion. Anything is possible in the Cup and looking to cause an upset.. 🤞We can Progress to the Next Round but we know this will be a difficult game all round.

Last Game of Pre-Season ended in a 5-2 Victory. We started the first half very good, we had high intensity throughout the half which we have been lacking in the last 2 games. A well taken Free kick to get us going and after that goals started to go in.
1-0 up to 1-1 a minute later and then after a few good spells 2-1 to us and then again a minute later found ourselfs 2-2, once again we found the net but this time a corner cross that was failed to be cleared and took a deflection the wrong way and ended up into the back of the net to make it 3-2, the lads then kick on and wanted another goal and shortly after, thats what they did score line 4-2 at HT. 2nd Half continue with the High intensity and within 5 mins we found the net again to go 5-2. Continuing on the front foot we shortly again had the ball in the net but for it to be ruled out for offside. After this Gresford then started to take control back and look for opportunities within the game to get goals back but unfortunately couldnt take there chances which on a different day could had ended up in the net. Pre-Season MD12

Our Last Game of Pre-Season today as we welcome Gresford Colliery Vets to Bellevue Park.

We've had a busy Pre-Season Since June, Plenty of Games, Plenty of Opportunity to show case Talent. Help build Sharpness and Fitness But most Importantly Enjoying the Games.

To prepare for there first season in full size goals and bigger pitch size.

Skippy 2-2 AFC Weston Rhyn

The lads started brightly in the opening 10mins and took an early lead to go 1-0. Once we got that first goal we stared to take control of the game and shortly found ourselfs 2-0 up leading into the break. 2nd Half our lads didnt keep the same momentum up and giving away silly passes. but fair play to Weston Rhyn they come out 2nd half and wanted it more and to prove a point they could get back in the game which they did to equzlize 2-2 through a goal that was from about 40+yards out going striaght over the GK. Next Up is our last Game of Pre-Season vs Gresford Colliery Vets which were playing on a sunday.

MD11 Skippy Host Afc Weston Rhyn.
Our 2nd to last game of Pre-Season and just like every other game we have played. This will be no easy Fixture. Afc Weston Rhyn will be looking to make a impact as they have just transfered from the Shropshire leagues to the NEWFA leagues. Hopefully tonight our lads can keep the good work up and have another positive result.

Pre-Season MD10.

Another Game under our belts tonight against a strong Penyffordd Lions side (First/Reserves).

The lads gave everything tonight and didnt stop one bit. We knew it was going to be a difficult game but the lads played for each other tonight and showed when they play as a team they can compete.

Next Up: Is new comers from the shropshire leagues is AFC Weston Rhyn on Tuesday 21st July.

Pre-Season MatchDay 9

Skippy Hosted Blue Bridge today in our 9th Game of Pre-Season.

After tuesday Defeat to Rhydymwyn the lads were looking to make thing right and within the first 20mins went 2-0 up. Acter the drinks break there wasnt much happening but blue Bridge manage to grab a goal back before Half time.

HT 2-1.

2nd Skippy went 3-1 up before Blue bridge fetched it back to 3-2.
Aftet a few changes to fetch fresh legs on, the lads turned the tide on there side and started to dominate and made it 4-2 and then 5-2 before Blue Bridge grab another to make it 5-3.

NEXT UP on Tuesday Evening Skippy host Penyffordd Lions first/Reserves(Mixed), which again is another big step for our lads to really see where we are as a team.

Pre-Season MD8

Tonight the lads travelled back to Rhydymwyn to take on Rhydymwyn Firsts Team with a few U19s mix in.

Tonight Game was always going to be a challenge and with our Current form Being positive, we knew that tonight game was going to Really test our lads and see where we are currently.

Playing a team 2 Tier above is always a risk but to only be losing 2-1 at half time. Gave lads hope of maybe grabbing an equaliser early on, However due to a heavily Mistake early on 2nd half Rhydymwyn took advantage of it and made it 3-1, 5 mins later we found ourselves 5-1 Down. Lads knew now it was going to be hard to get back in the game after this but lads kept going and got a goal back to make it 5-2, Rhydymwyn then kicked off a minute later went 6-2. The game was back to end to end and again Skippy Grab another to make it 6-3 but shortly close to the end of the game, skippy conceded 1 final goal and result finished 7-3.

Really Big test for our lads tonight but we'll dust ourselves down and back to training to fix the errors and Go again Saturday, Where we host Blue Bridge in Pre-Season MD9.

Pre-Season MD7

Lads Continue there form against a Strong opposition who gave the lads a real Battle all game and didnt stop.

Thank You Bradley Football Club on the game and overall hoped you enjoyed the day and Hope you guys all got home safe after a long days Travel.
