What an awesome thank you from our first Yurt guests of the year!

Our Glamping tent is up and has its first guests of the year staying this Easter.

We've also taken delivery of our new SUP fleet for adventures with Katie

Unfortunately our yurt pitching has been delayed by some wet weather! 😒

Planning is at the forefront of what we do!
Combing skills we've learnt over the past 10 years working both on water and in the mountains continuously navigating forecasts and ground conditions to find those sweet spots to make every paddle the best we can 😁🤟
Scottish forecasts and weather conditions are constantly altering so being dynamic and making multiple plans is always a good idea to avoid heuristic traps 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙

For those unaware Heuristics are traps which we can all fall into when undertaking adventures.

Familiarity- think, your local beach and how you maybe sometimes you can underestimate the conditions.

Social proof- following others without knowing the full picture can lead us into trouble.

Commitment- financial or time are sometimes both in short supply but don't let this become a decision making factor.

Scarcity- Conditions will come and go but over commiting because of "good" conditions can catch us all out.

Expert Halo- one for all the leaders out there! Just because we feel like we know doesn't mean we KNOW. Question everything and listen to the novice in the group if they point out a concern it's always worth talking it through.

We may be closed for the winter but that doesn't mean we stop.
We've been busy for the past 5 days upskilling ourselves in Scotland and working towards the highest level sup qualifications there is with .
This is one of our passions are we are dedicated to development and leveling up that experience you have with us on the water!

Huge thanks to for having us over the weekend, literally a stone throw away from Vinyl Bear HQ with loads of open space to accommodate us. Great set up if you love the outdoors. Worth checking out what they have on offer, excellent place to stay and during the day they can take you on paddle board lessons, hiking up mountains, biking down valleys. Check them out!
