On Saturday night, I was privileged to attend the Dancing Shoes Wrexham's annual show.

It was fantastic, with dancers of all ages putting on incredible performances, all of which were full of joy and heart.

As a Wrecsam2029 ambassador, these are the events that prove to me that we should win, we have a city full of groups that epitomise the culture Wrexham is known for.

Thank you for the invite, it was an brilliant evening and I hope you are all getting some rest!

I think I have recovered enough now to say a big well done to each and everyone of you in DSW. You did it again guys - two shows performed on the weekend to very enthusiastic audiences with some great comments received especially on how you take care of each other on stage whilst performing your routines.

For us - as a dance group of diverse students that is so important - and it ensures that each and everyone of you feels safe, your contribution is valued and without you it just wouldn’t be the same. We are who we are and you always bring the best of yourselves when the time is right.

So a big thank you and well done from me to all performers and of course both the fabulous Back Stage Crews - side of stage and in the dressing rooms without you the running of the performances would not be so smooth and effortless when viewed from the audience.

You all never cease to amaze me.
