Today I was asked “are you quite relaxed around your training and nutrition? Because when I first met you, you were really on it”.
And my answer is this…
Yes. I am really relaxed around my training and nutrition at the moment, more than I’ve ever been. One thing I’ve learnt is that life has its seasons and sometimes you can’t give everything your 100%. The reason I am comfortable being so relaxed at the moment is because I spent years putting the foundations in place. I’m not currently at my leanest nor my strongest but I am able to maintain a physique I’m okay with. At this stage in my life I’m putting more effort into my life outside of work and training. I’m learning to manage my mental health and take time off with no pressure. My depression got quite bad a couple of years ago and I’m learning to manage it, and that’s been my priority for a while now. At the end of the day eating well and training are my foundations and super important for my physical and mental health but I’m not super strict or regimented at the moment but I’m sure I will be again at certain points in my life, and I look forward to that. Knowing that gives me peace and this is something I coach my clients through. Life has its moments but as long as you have your foundations in place, you’ll do well to get through it.

From Wednesday 4th March I will finally be offering small group coaching! This is a cost effective way to start your personal training journey😁
Small groups will be no more than 5 people at a time, this way I can work with you and adapt exercises to suit everyone. We keep the quality high and have some fun with it!
If this is something you’re interested in I am offering your first session completely FREE, so come and try it out and see!
All abilities are welcome, this is a safe space to learn and develop. All exercises can be adapted to you 💪

2025 - A far from perfect year
This last year has been a tough one all round, and one I’d like to put behind me.
Although it’s been tough, I’m positive that last year has set me up for a better 2026. Mentally and physically I’m looking forward to starting the year how I mean to go on.
Me and the team always start the year with a January Challenge, we set 3-5 daily habits that we are going to do every day in Jan. this sets us up for a good start to the year. It should be easy and realistic, we’re not trying to set ourselves up to fail!

A little update from me..
I’ve not been very active on here for a while and that’s because there’s been a few things going on!
I am having an operation on both of my lower legs this month (for the second time). I have decided that I won’t be returning to my current gym after that. After 3 years there, I have built an amazing client base who I love wholeheartedly but it’s time for me to move on.
Once I am back up and running.. literally 🤣 I will be joining where I will be offering Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy 😁
I am super excited for the next chapter!!
It does mean I will have some Personal Training slots available from July 👀 📩
