Evan Ridley-DeMonick returned to the club from a spell at Old Redcliffians RFC and came back with a bang!
Scoring 27 tries in a season and becoming the clubs first player to reach 100 club tries.
Evan, played a big role in the first team achieving promotion finishing second in the league and had big moments in games during the season especially in defence.

Rhys Summerville is the Coaches Player of the Season.
Rhys is one of the most consistent players at Yate putting in big performances weekly, a crucial player within the squad and arguably the clubs greatest scrum half.
With recognition from the coaches, Rhys truly deserves this award.

π΅π‘ 1st XV Most Improved π‘π΅
Max Anstey is rewarded for all his efforts this season with the Most Improved Player.
27 appearances this season with a solo try that came last game of the season.
A regular at training and hasn't missed a game, recorded the most appearances this season, beating Ryan Holloway by one game.
Max is still relatively new too rugby and has picked up the game well, big strong lad who loves a scrum, carries well and has some speed for a big guy.

π΅π‘ 2nd XV Coaches Player of the Yearπ‘π΅
Congratulations Luke Parsons, second team coaches player of the year, Luke has been fantastic this season playing centre and wing, scoring some lovely tries and the two against Kingswood home and away standing out.
Luke, passionate, committed and always putting in a shift, which resulted in Luke being involved in the cup match against Ashley Down, performed well and was involved with the Yate's last score in a 22-19 Yate victory.

Mike Matravers voted π³ second team players player of the season
Mike has been brilliant week in week out for the 2nd team with big performances each week. A tackling machine with unbelievable work rate and solid lineout jumper.
17 appearances and 1 try between the 1st & 2nd team.

Congratulations to George Haynes for claiming the second team most improved player 2026.
George has been excellent this season for the 2s and has been consistent with his performances, scoring several times which were crucial in games.

Andy Taylor takes home the Community Award this season.
Andy is always going the extra mile for the club, not only playing 23 games this season but helping to improve the club off the field, whilst jugging work and family commitments.
Andy is the king of the veo, has helped put up majority of the fencing around the pitches and helped with the new stand along with other things around the club which all have improved the look of the club.

One of the best characters at the club. Reece had a few seasons away and returned just as good if not better than he was.
Reece, doesn't chnage for anybody, what you see if what you get, a great individual for team moral, always up for a laugh and great attitude.
Also 100% committed wether first or second team Reece just plays and gives the same commitment to either team.

Jordan H is the clubs most capped player, reaching 1οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£ appearances after finishing the season on 23 matches.
Jordan has been at the club since the start, 2016 and continues to be ever present on and off the field.
Along the way, Jordan as Captained the club, won promotions and the back to back league titles.
Jordan currently on top, with Damiene Britton on 146 and Will Mace 142.
