Another weekend for our girls, with the U11 Pumas, U14 Blue Cats and U16 Sports all in action!
U11 Pumas – Away 🆚 Wellington

A fantastic performance from the Pumas, with Penny earning Player of the Match honours after showing incredible determination, desire and a never give up attitude throughout the game.
Her hard work was rewarded with a brilliant hat-trick!

U14 Blue Cats – Away 🆚 Shepton Mallet
Blue Cats Lose 0–2 ❌
A really positive start from the Blue Cats, unfortunately conceding two early goals from corners. Those proved to be the only difference between the two teams.
The girls didn’t let their heads drop and battled brilliantly until the final whistle.
With five regular players missing, players having to step into unfamiliar positions and new players still finding their feet within the squad, the girls performed incredibly well and we couldn’t be prouder.
Most importantly, they came off the pitch smiling. And honestly, we can’t ask for much more than that!
POTM – Ash everywhere today, winning her 50/50s and putting in a brilliant work rate in the centre of the park. A thoroughly deserved Player of the Match!

U16 Sports – Home 🆚 Bridport
Westland Sports Win 9–0 ✅
A perfect way to start the season!

A fantastic way to open the new season! Our U16s set a high standard with a dominant nine goal display, playing football that was fluid, direct, controlled, and clinical. The goals came via a hat-trick from Leah, braces from Emily and Mia, and well-taken goals from Izzy and Ruby. Five players made proud Westland debuts, while Lacey pulled the strings in central midfield with three assists, goal of the day a towering Izzy header from Leah’s corner.
POTM - A quiet afternoon for Sophia, but she remained composed with safe hands when needed, contributed an assist with a great quick kick and kept a clean sheet. She also produced an incredible save when called upon to preserve that clean sheet.
To crown a memorable opening day, debutant Ruby deservedly walked away with Parents’ Player of the Match.
