We’ve been keeping a little Christmas secret… 👀🎅

And now we can finally tell you!

❤️ This year, Pen Mill is getting its very own grassroots Christmas Fete! ❤️

📅 28th November
📍 Johnson Park

We’re starting something new — a Christmas event created right here in our community, bringing together local people, local businesses and plenty of festive spirit. 🎄✨

…and hopefully a few surprises along the way! 👀✨

But to make our first Pen Mill Christmas Fete really special, we need our local community to get involved!

Recently, we’ve received so many lovely comments and messages about our social media content, and we just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU! 💚

We now have a dedicated Social Media Officer at the club, focused on sharing everything happening across Pen Mill and making sure the players, coaches, volunteers and teams get the recognition they deserve for all their hard work. 👏⚽️

From training nights and matchdays to Mini Stars, achievements, sponsors and those special moments that make grassroots football what it is — we want to share the Pen Mill love! 💚

Spaces are available across all three groups! 💚

🌟💚⚽️ MINI STARS ARE BACK THIS SUNDAY! ⚽️💚🌟

After a fantastic first session, we’re back again this Sunday morning at Johnson Park! 🙌

Just a reminder that our Mini Stars are split into two groups:

🌟 Ages 2–4 — Pre-school
🌟 Ages 4–6 — Reception & Year 1

We can’t wait to welcome back all of our Mini Stars from last week, as well as meeting some new little faces joining us for the first time! 💚⚽️

💰 FIRST SESSION FREE!

Your child’s first Mini Stars session is completely FREE, giving them the chance to come along and see how much they enjoy it.

After their first session, it’s just £2 per week to continue joining us. 🌟

We’re so excited to see everyone again for another morning of football, fun, learning and plenty of smiles! 😁⚽️

💚⚽️ U10 PREDATORS WORKING HARD! ⚽️💚

Our U10 Predators were putting in the hard work at training tonight, focusing on strength, competing against each other and working hard on the ball. 💪⚽️

Even Coach Matt got involved in the action! 😅👏

It was brilliant to see so many of the boys focused and giving their all, while still enjoying every minute.

Plenty of hard work, plenty of learning and, most importantly, lots of laughs and smiles! 😁💚

That’s what grassroots football is all about — developing, enjoying the game and having fun with your teammates.

Our U16 Lionesses are looking for a goalkeeper to join their fantastic group! ⚽️

👧 School Years 10 & 11
⚽️ Training: Wednesdays, 6–7pm
🏟️ Matches: Saturday mornings

We have a lovely group of girls, a great bunch of coaches and a friendly, supportive environment where players can enjoy their football and continue developing. 💚

Whether you’re an experienced goalkeeper or looking to develop in the position, we’d love to hear from you! 🧤

💚⚽️ SUNSHINE, FOOTBALL & PLENTY OF SMILES! ⚽️💚

Another brilliant evening of training last night in the sunshine! ☀️

🐾 U10 Panthers enjoyed a great session focused on working together as a team, with the coaches getting involved too! They finished off with some penalties before grabbing some lovely photos with their new sponsors! 🧤⚽️📸

🔥 U11s also had a cracking session, putting in plenty of teamwork and hard work — while still finding time to attempt the bottle challenge on Coach Luke! 😂💦

Football is about so much more than what happens on matchday, and there’s nothing better than seeing so many children leaving training happy and with smiles on their faces! 💚

A huge congratulations to Junior, our Trainer of the Week! 🏆👏

Junior worked incredibly hard this evening and is showing great progress in his new role within the team! 🧤

After two seasons as a winger, Junior has made the big decision himself to step between the posts and become our new goalkeeper! 💚⚽️

We’re all right behind you, Junior — keep being you and keep smashing it! 🧤💚

🎂 We also celebrated Jacob’s 10th birthday tonight, with some lovely cupcakes kindly brought in by his family! 🧁

💚⚽️ WHERE ONE PEN MILL JOURNEY BEGAN… ANOTHER ONE STARTS! ⚽️💚

On Sunday, one of our U10 Panthers coaches, Josh, got to experience a pretty special full-circle moment at Pen Mill. 🥹💚

Josh has 16+ years of memories at this club, having been part of Pen Mill as a player, coach and referee.

He first walked through the doors as a child himself all those years ago… and on Sunday, he got to watch the next generation of his family begin their own Pen Mill journey. 🌟

His son Obi joined us for his first Mini Stars session! ⚽️💚

From Josh starting his football journey here more than 16 years ago, to now enjoying watching his little boy take his first kicks at the same club — it doesn’t get much more special than that.

Josh said:

“It’s pretty special seeing the club become such a big part of our family, and even more special knowing that the next chapter is just beginning.” 💚

And this is exactly what grassroots football is all about.

Memories. Family. Community. Generations. 💚

Here’s to Obi making plenty of his own amazing memories, having lots of fun and, who knows… maybe even following in Dad’s footsteps one day! 🥰⚽️
