Formed in 1927, Hull Road Park Bowling Club is one of the oldest bowling clubs in York. The Club i HRP welcomes both new starters and experienced bowlers.
Hull Road Park Bowling Club (HRP) started in 1927 at the City of York Council owned Hull Road Park on the east side of the City. Although the Club has changed home greens several times it is still going strong. In 2021 HRP was offered the use of the excellent facilities at the York Railway Bowls & Social Club. On Friday 11 November HRP celebrated the 2022 bowls season, and what a good season it was!
Congratulations to all the winners of the Club Competitions, and a special mention to winners of the York Super 7s, the Yorkshire County Over 65s Fours, the YABA Singles and the Hot Shots Club.
