We would like to thank everyone who came to our grotto today. We raised a fabulous £384.60 for well needed maintenance.
Also a big thank you to everyone who volunteered to help with setting up and on the day, to people who have donated gifts for us to give out and also to Morrisons Acomb for donating hot chocolate and marshmallows.
A lovely day was had by all!

Preparations for the grotto well underway!
Alongside a gift, each child will also receive a believe bell from Santa. A lovely added extra to put on your tree every year.
We still have some spaces available, however the morning slots are very nearly full so please get in touch soon to avoid disappointment!

I know what you are thinking... Christmas already, it's still August! We are advertising now due to people wanting to get booked in for Santa visits at Christmas time. Our bowls club is raising funds to help with the costs of improving our green.
We are organising a grotto for the 13th of December. It will be £6 per child with pre-booking recommended (we will try to squeeze people in on the day if it is possible). Payment will be taken on the day and includes a visit and a gift with Santa and Mrs Claus, Christmas crafts and reindeer food making.

**PRE SEASON MEETING**
To all current members and people thinking of joining us this season, a pre season meeting will be held on Saturday the 12th of April at 2pm.

Yorkshire Top Club 2024 winners!
A huge congratulations to the club for winning the final of Yorkshire Top Clubs this afternoon. A huge achievement for us!

A successful couple of months for our ladies!
On the 22nd of July, Judy and Sandy won the York two wood pairs.
Yesterday myself (Naomi) and Sandy competed in the York two wood singles. Sandy won the competition and I came 2nd in the plate.

We are forecast for a dry afternoon! Come down to see us 12-4pm

Our open bowls day is fast approaching! Please come down if you would like to try something new. Tea, coffee, Juice and biscuits will be available on the day.
