Força, resistência & união ✊🏽
We’re bringing together incredible teachers for Força Guerreira, a special capoeira event in York to raise funds for Project Guerreira — a social project supporting vulnerable women through capoeira, movement and community.
All funds raised will go towards:
• Securing a regular training space
• Buying instruments
• Growing accessible classes for women who need them most
This is about strength, solidarity and building something sustainable together.

It is such a privilege to introduce Capoeira York’s “Project Guerreira” a social project created to offer a safe space for women to build their confidence and find community and empowerment through capoeira.
The pilot round of Project Guerreira is complete — and the energy has been unreal. ✨💛
Offering free capoeira classes to vulnerable women has created a space filled with strength, joy, friendship, and self-belief. Every kick, every song, every shared moment built something powerful.
