BIG NEWS!!!
Alongside our usual experience building matches which are non decision and light contact for people who are less confident we now are offering more to all clubs involved and spectators who come to support!
This year will feature the following:
✔️ Light contact non decision.
✔️ Light contact decision.
✔️ Full contact decision.
This will be in the following formats:
✔️ Kickboxing- light contact non decision, light contact decision and full contact (adults only for full contact).
✔️ Kyokushin knockdown- full contact.
✔️ UK Shootboxing- light & full contact.
✔️ SVT Knockdown- full contact.

IT’S BACK!!! 🙂🥊🥋
On August 3rd 2024 our annual Fist of The Midlands event will be taking place at The Post Mill Centre South Normanton.
Featuring the following:
🔵 Kids Kickboxing (NSMA Rules)
🔵 Adults Kickboxing (NSMA Rules)
🔵 Kyokushin karate (modified knockdown rules)
🔵 Shootboxing (NSMA Rules)
🔵 SVT knockdown 8-man tournament
This will feature the launch of amateur Japanese style Shootboxing in the UK and will have 5 matches to establish a champion in each weight class. Each winner will receive a belt and the winner of our SVT 8-man tournament will also receive a belt in recognition of their achievement.

SVT Knockdown 🏴🇬🇧🇯🇵
In 2024 we will host our SVT Knockdown Open Weight Tournament!
The winner will fight under 3x1 min rounds for preliminary rounds & for 3x3min rounds under A-Class SVT Knockdown rules in the final!
Whoever is successful will walk away with the SVT Knockdown 2024 Open Weight title belt.
This will take place as the headline to our Fist of The Midlands event featuring matches in the following:
🔵 Kyokushin karate (modified rules allowing for gripping the Gi and striking)
🔵 NSMA kickboxing (Prolonged clinching, striking in the clinch, catches, prolonged striking from catches & sweeping techniques)
🔵 Shootboxing (Striking, clinching, takedowns & Standing submissions)
🔵 SVT Knockdown (MMA gloves, strikes including head butts, clinching, takedowns & standing submissions)

SVT knockdown
Our next seminar is on Sunday September 3rd 10-1pm open to all styles & organisations.
🔴 Sensei Andy Rotherham 4th Dan head instructor of Derby Kyokushinkai Karate will teach the first hour.
🔵 Liam Harper-Camm 3rd Dan kickboxing/Shootboxing head instructor of NSMA will teach the second hour.
Followed by our customary hour of sparring to conclude 🙂👊
