As we age, building and maintaining muscle becomes more challenging. From around age 50, we lose about 1% of muscle mass annually, with strength declining nearly twice as fast. This age-related muscle loss, known as sarcopenia, is common, but there are ways to combat it. Developing healthy habits early is key to maintaining muscle mass and enjoying an active, fulfilling life.

We're always talking about the importance of good posture in class.
We work on strengthening muscles πͺ in our chest and back which are key to good posture and preventing falls.
Good posture also makes you look FABULOUS π
Good posture ensures that muscles are used correctly and efficiently, preventing overuse injuries. Strong, well-functioning muscles support and protect the joints, reducing the likelihood of joint pain and injury.
All classes this coming week are cancelled due to yours truly feeling proper poorly π·π₯΄
I've texted most of my lovely class members but watch out π for an email or a message on your landline if I haven't got a mobile number for you.
Classes may be cancelled but try to keep moving πͺπ€ΈββοΈπ and I'll be back from Monday 3rd June with bells on π
