Yorkshire's Winter Wonderland

This season marked a huge milestone for Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland as we celebrated 20 years of our ice rink. ❄️⛸️

Our team is at the heart of everything. From the build days through to the final skate, it takes care, commitment and teamwork to bring this event to life - and so many faces return season after season. Some have been part of the journey for years, others joined more recently, but together we truly feel like a family.

From the ice marshals out on the rink keeping skaters safe and supported, to the wider teams across the site working to keep everything running smoothly and make each visit enjoyable and magical, it’s that shared effort that creates the experience so many people return for year after year. And just as importantly, it’s our customers themselves. Families, friends and familiar faces coming back each winter, from those who skated with us at The Eye of York in the very early days to those beginning new traditions with us now, and they are what make this place what it is.

We’re incredibly proud of what we create each winter, and grateful to everyone who gives their time and energy to this event - including the local contractors we’re proud to work with, who help build, maintain and support Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland from start to finish.

While pups can’t join us on the ice rink or funfair rides (safety first!), they’re more than welcome to soak up the atmosphere around the rink, explore the Enchanted Woodland, and enjoy a well-earned puppuccino in the Chalet Café ☕🐕

It’s the perfect spot to sit together, warm up with a hot drink and watch skaters glide across the ice while your furry friend relaxes by your side ❄️⛸️
