There is an extra buzz around the lake today! 🏆

We are thrilled to be hosting the Biathle of the Roses competition right here at Allerthorpe for another year. The park always has a fantastic, high-energy atmosphere as athletes of all ages take on the run-swim-run challenge throughout the day.

If you are visiting us today, come down and soak up the inspiring vibes! Our standard park admission and activities are still running, though session times and water access may differ slightly to accommodate the races. We strongly recommend checking our online booking system for activities and times before arriving - link at the bottom.

11:15 AM: Athlete Course Briefing & Walkthrough

11:45 AM: Race 1 – U17, U19, Junior & Senior Men

12:10 PM: Race 2 – U17, U19, Junior & Senior Women

12:40 PM: Race 3 – Masters 40+/50+ & Para Athletes

1:00 PM: Race 4 – Under 15 Girls & Boys

1:20 PM: Race 5 – Under 13 Girls & Boys

1:45 PM: Race 6 – Masters 60+ & Masters 70+

2:05 PM: Race 7 – Under 11 Girls & Boys

The park is closed to day visitors, activities while the U Prevail Events Triathlon takes place tomorrow!

🟢 OPEN Sunday 13th Sept 🟢We re-open on Sunday! The Biathle event will be running alongside normal day visits.

🚗 CLASSIC CARS ARE BACK AT ALLERTHORPE! 🚗

They’re back! We are thrilled to welcome back a stunning display of around 12 classic vintage cars this weekend.

They will be parked up on the grass right by the lake, making for the perfect lakeside view while you enjoy your walk, coffee, or bite to eat!
