Get down to the York Sport Centre on Friday for a day of Table Tennis as we go head to head with Lancaster in our annual Roses clash. Any support would be greatly appreciated by our players 😊 🏓

This season’s Head to Head record for both Men and Women reads 1-1 so could be some great matches with quality players on both teams 🔥

As of the 2025/6 season, the UYTTC will be joining the likes of BT, Shepards and Clarence in playing all home matches at the Clarence working Men’s Club!

In making the decision to leave the York Sport Centre, the committee took into account several factors:

The prospect of no longer have to forfeit doubles matches due to running out of time particularly appealed, as did the impressive range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options on tab in the on-site bar - a perfect refreshment after a hard-fought victory! The positive impact on performance was a further motivation, with the hope that it will encourage players to play close to the table where possible and discourage elaborate forehands from the backhand corner!

We’d like to thank Clarence for their cooperation and look forward to welcoming visiting sides to our new venue next season 🏓
