My journey to the 30 man kumite and beyond

So….after quite a lot heart searching, discussions and meetings/training with many wonderful people, I’m very happy to say I am in the process of opening a karate dojo in East Yorkshire early in the new year.

I’m also very proud to be accepted under the banner of the IKKU. I will endeavour to promote and uphold the core values they hold!

My instructor and very good friend Gary Chamberlain was kind enough to send me this kata book with a dedication from the legend Shihan Brian Fitkin. it will be well used and treasured.

I’ll post details of venue and timings for both adults and kids nearer the time but suffice to say, exciting times.
