Next week I am performing as the storyteller in this show! It is a dark madcap romp, brilliantly staged with a small cast! Brought to life with the assistance of imagination and puppets!
The show is looking really good - come see it!

Wise words to anyone approaching race day!
Races are coming up fast, suddenly I’m seeing lots of athletes starting to panic about the amount of training they have (or haven’t) done.
the worst thing you can do right now is sabotage yourself trying to fit too much in over a condensed period.
Prep may not have been perfect, but it’s better to be fresh than burnt out at this stage.
Stay consistent and do what you can but don’t deviate and risk it all backfiring on race day.

Time to ease those lockdown aches and pains, catch up with looking after yourself!
Fingers crossed!

It's hip to do stretches!
These days we are spending so much time sitting at desks which is inevitably creating tight hips and impairing mobility.
While you are sitting the hip flexors (muscles at the front of your hips) tighten and shorten, at the same time the back of the hips, glutes and hip extensors over stretch. The whole area is becoming weak leading to back pain and poor balance and posture.
Stretching out the hips every day can help counteract the hours spent sitting at your desk.
Sports massage can help release your tight hips - reduce pain and improve balance and posture.
Message me for appointments and advise.
Try this stretch for starters.....

Well! After a false start 2 weeks ago, I have finally been allowed to reopen for business! I am looking forward to getting out there and looking after your aches and pains again.
The process will be a little different which I will discuss with anyone booking an appointment and I shall look like someone working in a nuclear laboratory! But I will be back at work!
PM me if you want to book an appointment.

Unfortunately the powers that be have seen fit not to allow SMTs return to work at the moment. I must admit to being baffled given the relaxing of the lock down rules and the opening of the pubs and hairdressers.
The Sports Massage associations are hard at work battling for us to be allowed back to work, so fingers crossed it won’t be too long.
If you are interested in being in the appointment book when I can reopen please send me details in a private message and I will get in touch as soon as I am allowed.
