Next weekend on Saturday the 29th of November we will be playing in the first round of the University Floorball League 2025/26 at Durham University!
With an amazing 10 teams signed up this year the first round is split into two regional events. Next Saturday we are looking forward to playing against Aberdeen, Lancashire and two teams from Durham!
A huge thank you to for hosting the event and for all the hard work put in by the UFL team to organise the league, without you all none of this would happen!

We are training as usual this week!
If you haven’t had the chance to try out Floorball yet this is a great time to come along this week while it’s a bit quieter.

Until 11pm on Sunday the 28th of September you can get £5 off your Floorball membership! This is in addition to the £30 Black Tier AU fee which grants access to joining sports on campus.
Come along to our two give it a go sessions for free to try Floorball out! These are being run on Thursday the 25th of (8pm-10pm) and Saturday the 27th of September (5pm-7pm) in hall 3 of the arena in campus west sports centre.
Eligible students can also get support from the activities access grant from the student union to get reimbursement for up to £80 to cover the cost of joining societies, along with £50 for participation costs! Check this out here: https://yorksu.org/activities-access-grants

Come try out floorball with our two give it a go sessions!
Floorball is a fast paced indoor sport which can be described as ice hockey without the ice. It is played with lightweight sticks and balls, five outfield players and a goalkeeper. See our other posts to learn more and see what we get up to!

Come chat to us this Saturday to learn about floorball! We will be situated at stall 4 in the arena in the sports centre on campus west, which is near to the exit.
You might also get a chance to try out floorball yourself!

Congratulations to everyone receiving their results today!

We compete alongside other university teams in the UKFF Universities league, coming second last season!
