Tang hall wmc (Sunday morning) are looking to take on a new manager role for the 20/21 season.

Duties will include; taking training sessions at the york sports village one night per week & managing the team on a Sunday morning (10.30am kick off) all other duties will be taken care of.

We currently play in division 1 in the york Sunday morning league. We have a good financial backing by the WMC & play our home games on the York st John pitches at haxby road.

Alongside the new role we are always looking to strengthen our squad so any players who fancies a new challenge get in contact aswel!

After promotion last season the club currently sit 4th in the top division, with a respectable 6 points from 3 games played!

Today the lads had their first leauge game against Malt Shovel. We took all 3 points in a 5-3 victory. Huge shift from the lads with some quality football played. Big mention to Connor Wade who secured a man of the match performance, getting a hatrick and was unplayable up top. James Brown and Isaac Steel also netted to bring home the first win of the season.

The 1st of a 8 week PT fitness course starts tonight for the lads, Bishopthorpe, ferry lane York, YO23 2SB 7pm start. (£3)

Anyone interested in signing for the Tang Hall next season or anyone looking for some extra fitness, all welcome, Signing on forms will be available tonight for any old, current and new players wishing to sign.

Tang Hall kick off their pre season with an 8 week PT fitness programme shaped around strength, speed, agility & endurance.

We start on Monday the 24th June, 7pm @ Ferry Lane (Bishopthorpe pitch). It is £3 a session. Then every Monday same time same place for 8 weeks.

Even if your not into football and wanna get fit this is a great starting opportunity. Current, old and new faces all welcome. Track your progress over the 8 weeks and see the difference with a range of tests.

Ball work training sessions will be held at the Sports Village starting Wednesday the 26th June 7pm start.

This Saturday is Tang Hall WMC end of season awards and social night:

Where: Tang Hall WMC (concert room)

What: We have plenty of chances for you to win some money with our raffles and games thoughout the night.

We also have our 150" projector screen were we will be playing the champions league final!

DJ throughout the night till late.

When: Saturday 1st June. 5pm start with the awards called around 7pm.

Tang Hall WMC 8-0 Wentworth

Tang Hall ran riot again with yet another empathic victory over Wentworth. Tang Hall showed there class with Man of the match Liam Robertson pulling the strings in the middle of the park. A strong team performance with goals from: Arron Rose (1), Jase Ezard (1), Andrew Rothwell (1), Joe Rawcliffe (1), Chris Lane (1) and 3 own goals from Wentowrth.
