What a brilliant day at Varsity on Sunday! Incredible atmosphere on the sidelines and amazing performances from all the Constantine and Hes East teams. Well done to all the athletes and thank you to everyone who came to support- so proud of you all 🙌🩷

Last week, Constantine Sport was proud to support BEAT in their Paint the Campus Purple campaign for National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. The Constantine Sport Instagram turned purple, teams trained in purple, and players wore purple face paint and ribbons during matches to show their support. It was great to see everyone get involved and help raise awareness for such an important cause. Thank you to everyone who took part- it was a great week!

To kick start this new semester we are giving use the opportunity to try out a new sport within any one of our teams. For Refreshers most of our teams are holding out taster sessions (no membership required for this week).
Time and location:
Womens football - thursday 8-9pm 3g pitch (this session is being held next week on 13th
february)
Mens football - Tuesday 2pm - 4pm 22 Acres pitch 10
Badminton - Friday 3:30pm - 4:30pm Arena 3
Basketball - Monday 2pm - 3pm Arena 1
Hes East Cricket - sunday 11:30am - 1pm main hall
Hockey - saturday 6pm-7pm JLD pitch
Netball - sunday 11:30am - 12:30pm arena 2 and tuesday 3pm-4pm arena 1
Hes East Mens rugby - Saturday 11am- 12pm 22 Acres pitch number 8
Hes East Women’s touch rugby - Tuesday 1pm - 3pm 22 Acres
Hes East Tennis: saturday 5pm - 6pm courts 1,2,3
Volleyball - saturday 3:30pm - 5pm arena 2

For my last post as Constantine College Vice President (Sport) I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you and reminisce on my time in this role.
This job has given me so many opportunities to help share my love and passion for sport and encourage everyone to see how it can not only improve your health but also drastically shape your time here at York.
I have also made so many great memories and friends along the way. From the Sports Awards in March, to Varsity, to Freshers Week 2024 where we once again welcomed many of you into our amazing Constantine and Hes East Sports Clubs.
It has been great to see the commitment and passion shown by each clubs committees reflected in their team’s success and dedication to their sports. I wish you all the best of luck for the rest of your seasons.
Finally, I want to say thank you to all those who have supported me in this role and I wish all the best to the VP (Sport) for this next year.
