To this semi-professional mountaineer Edward 'Teddy' Farrelly Esq. (see www.edfarrelly.com for details) replied, "Oh Peter, what a wonderful idea. Let us spread the message of good sportsmanship, tolerance, respect for women, throughout the merry land of Albion and beyond." That is how the University of York Croquet Society came to be. Today the University of York Croquet Society is the perfect environment in which to fully appreciate the multifaceted splendour of the Sport of Kings. We welcome all from OTC groupies to complete beginners, so come along and have a jolly good day.
