**NETBALL TRIALS ON 2nd OF OCTOBER**. We are all looking forward to seeing lots of new faces and welcome all abilities! We will also be at freshers fair on the 1st of October so please feel free to come and have a chat with our committee!

A message from Tanya Hill, the new club President -

Hey everyone! My name is Tanya Hill and I am the new club president for 2016/17. My role in the club is to provide leadership and help everyone within our squad feel connected and comfortable with each other. I am here for any member of the club to come to whatever the problem is and to make sure they're enjoying their time in UYNC.

I am here ensure that our committee is constantly working together to make us the best possible club on campus, whether that be organising events on and off campus, or having the best socials on a Wednesday night or having those 3 wins on a BUCS Wednesday.

Joining UYNC as a fresher has been one of my best decisions at uni, have the best relationships with a group of 30 fab girls and as president I want you new freshers to feel the same way, so if you have any questions or worries about anything, please do drop me a fb message!

A message from our new Club Captain Georgia Dixon -

I'm Georgia Dixon and i am the 2016/2017 Club Captain for the University of York Netball Club. This year, my role includes taking four training sessions alongside the support of our amazing coach in order to ensure development for all the girls in the squad. Along with the hope of promotion for all three team. Being a member of UYNC for the last two years has made my university experience even better, not only for the high standard of netball but also for the girls i get to share the UYNC experience with. Joining the Netball Club was the best decision i made and now i am the proud captain of an all female club with the best bunch of girls on campus.
