Last year we conquered the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, this year we take on Scafell Pike for a cause very close to all of our hearts.

Evening everyone and hope you are looking forward to the annual dinner next Saturday, should be a great evening.

Have some exciting news in terms of next year’s flagship charity walk. As you will have seen we smashed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks earlier this year, whilst raising £3k for charity and over £500 for the club.

The difference that money has made and will continue to make is something that we can all as a collective be incredibly proud of.

Next year it has been decided that we will be taking on Scafell Pike in the April. We had 20 people last year, it would be great to have 30 next year.

Save the date of April the 4th. It’s a Saturday.

Instead of a 3 way split, next year we will be raising money for the club and Alopecia UK.

Two very worthy causes as we continue to grow in a cricketing sense with more teams, and to raise awareness of an issue that still has no cure.

Second unbeaten hundred of the season for this man. Excellent stuff and a key part of the charity work we’ve done this year.

Outstanding 100* from yesterday. 140 unbeaten runs in a bank holiday weekend isn’t a bad effort. Losing most of your possessions twice in 2 days as usual is.

Feels strange for it all to be over after months of preparation, planning and kind donations. To be able to do something of this magnitude with friends and family will not only be a valuable contribution to charity but an experience we can all cherish and reminisce upon over time. Hugely grateful to everyone who donated and all the personal battles members of the group may have faced, overcome and conquered yesterday. Really special time to be involved with BPCC and this is just the start of it.
