The final Dukes squad of the season. We head to our friends at Fulford to close the season off and what a season it has been. New kit, new sponsors, charity match, radio interviews, newspaper articles, wins, draw, losses including one absolute battering. We've had wonder strikes, wonder saves, how the hell did he miss that moments, full kamikaze mode goalkeeping, elbows, sin bins. Match reports which would challenge some of the best but I'm sure I speak for all The Dukes players, we are looking forward to break from the post match sausage and chips.
And not forget nearly £3000 raised for Andy's Man Club.
Keep an eye out for the 'final' final result of the season.
Disclaimer - we will be boring you with some 7 aside stuff in early June.

York Dukes are disappointed to hear that none of our players have been called up to the England squad by Thomas Tuchel, when reports were coming out that the likes of Harry Maguire, Cole Palmer were left out and Ivan Toney was included, we genuinely expected a few call ups from the squad. However this hasn't materialised and we will now spend the summer focusing on ensuring our players recover from the disappointing news. As a club we will ensure there is also a support network for the squad to help them deal with the disappointing results we are now expecting from England over the summer. The York Dukes are a united club, in it together.

The charity match between York Dukes and Malton Old Boys has raised an amazing £2878 for Andy's Man Club. We set out with a target of £1500 and who woukd have thought a bunch of over 35 year olds could smash that! Thank you to everyone who supported the event and hopefully we'll see you next year. ❤️

**Statement from the York Dukes**
Despite our best efforts and pleading with the council and the police, we too have been denied our open top bus parade following our victory and winning The Steven Bilton Trophy for the first time. We appreciate our large fan base will be disappointed with this decision, as a club we are keeping our fingers crossed for yet another U-Turn and we are currently working on a Plan C, Plan B is dependent on another team so, we are reaching out to York City, are you up for sharing both our teams success and letting us join in your promotion party on Wednesday at The LNER?
