Long's Black Belt Schools' Copmanthorpe club is to be focused on a family friendly club with lots of families who train with us. Lead instructor Nicole Pratt oversees all lessons and is a multiple British champion and has been part of the Great Britain team. Lesson Age Group

Our lessons are a mixture of high tempo cardio workout with the technique and skills of martial arts. Each lesson consists of a warm up, skill / technique work and finishes with a fast paced burnout. More advanced members can then take part in light sparring. We also offer a range of private lessons, aimed for those wanting to advance their skills in a one-to-one environment. This can be arranged privately with a member of our instructor team. New members are always welcome, but all we ask is you let us know in advance so our instructors have time to plan and prepare for your arrival. To do so, please fill in the free trial form at the bottom of this page and one of our instructors will call you to arrange a suitable time. We do not insist on long term contracts or high joining fees, we simply ask that you purchase your martial arts insurance and training kit after your free trial and pay your rolling monthly fee.
