🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE – WEDNESDAY 10TH JUNE 🚨

Unfortunately, there has been an error on our website regarding tomorrow morning's opening times.

Please note that there will be no 9:00am lane swim. Instead, there will be an Open Swim from 10:45am–11:45am.

The gym will also not open until 11:00am.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. This was an error on our behalf, and we are sorry for any confusion caused.

🎪 A Different Look for the Sports Hall at St Alban’s Sports Centre 🎪

Many of our eagle-eyed gym goers will probably have spotted the huge transformation that took place in the sports hall this week 👀

Our SAC staff team worked incredibly hard setting up for Ampleforth College’s Exhibition Weekend — rolling out carpets, building the marquee, and laying out all the seating ready for the college prize giving presentations 🙌

A massive well done to all the award winners and students recognised over the weekend 👏

And finally, good luck to all the Year 13 students with your exams and as you move on from college — we wish you all the very best for the future 💙

☀️ Half Term at St Alban’s Sports Centre ☀️

We’ve got plenty happening this half term for all the family to enjoy 🙌

🏊 Fun Sessions are running every day during half term, with TWO 2-hour fun sessions on Saturday — giving you a huge 14 HOURS of fun sessions across the week 💦

We also have:
• Adult Lane Swims Monday–Saturday at 9am
• Multiple open swims throughout the week
• Ladies Only & Gents Only swims still available (please note times have slightly changed this week)

Unfortunately there will be no fitness classes Monday–Friday, however:
💪 Gym Circuits is still on Saturday morning
🏋️‍♂️ The gym is open every day:
• Monday: 9am–3pm
• Tuesday–Friday: 9am–8pm
• Saturday: 9am–3pm

⚠️ Important Centre Update – Monday 18th May ⚠️

Unfortunately, on Monday 18th May the gym will be closing at 2:30pm and there will be no evening swims.

We have added an extra open swim session from 3:00–4:00pm, however we understand this may not be convenient for everyone and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

This is due to all staff completing lifeguard training as the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is changing. This training ensures our lifeguards are fully up to date with the new content and helps us continue providing the safest possible environment for all our members and swimmers 🏊‍♂️

🎨 Reception Transformation at St Alban’s Sports Centre 🎨

Our reception area has recently been redecorated with a fresh new look and coat of paint to help brighten up the centre for everyone who visits 🙌

We’re really pleased with the finished result and hope you all love the new look as much as we do 💙

Looking to improve your child’s confidence, technique, or progression in the pool this half term? We’ve got extra private lesson slots available with Helen and Millie 🙌

💦 All lessons are:
• 30-minute private sessions
• £18 per child

🏊‍♂️ Lane Swimming is BACK at St Alban’s Sports Centre 🏊‍♂️

Starting from Monday 11th May, we’ll be introducing Adults Lane Swims (14+) as the first swim every weekday morning 🙌

This will help manage busy sessions and give everyone the chance to swim uninterrupted with plenty of space.

The pool will be split into 3 double lanes:
• Slow lane
• Medium lane
• Fast lane

Allowing swimmers of all abilities to swim comfortably and overtake where needed 💪

If these sessions prove popular, we’ll look to add more in the future 👏

🏊‍♂️💪 Bank Holiday Monday Opening Hours – 4th May 💪🏊‍♂️

We’re open this Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May, with the centre open until 6:30pm 🙌

Please note:
• No Legs, Bums & Tums class
• The centre will close at 6:30pm instead of our usual 8:00pm

Other than that, it’s a regular Monday and we look forward to seeing you then ☀️
