We can all feel stuck from time to time.
I know I have.
I’ve felt stuck in relationships. Stuck in grief. Stuck in businesses that weren’t working. Stuck in old versions of myself. Stuck between what was and whatever comes next.
And if I’m honest, I’m not sure I’d ever have described those seasons as anything other than stuck.
But lately I’ve been wondering - what if the messy middle isn’t actually the problem?
What if it’s the PORTAL? ✨
What if it’s the dark wardrobe leading to Narnia?🌲🦁
The place where you can’t quite see where you’re going, and everything familiar has disappeared behind you. The place where you have to slow down, trust the dark, feel your way forward and keep taking the next step, even when you don’t yet know where it leads.
Perhaps that’s why these seasons feel so uncomfortable - not because we’re failing or because we’re irrevocably lost, but because we’re standing at a threshold between who we’ve been and who we’re becoming.
And maybe the invitation isn’t to force our way out of the uncertainty, but to learn how to walk through it.
I’ve been thinking about thresholds a lot lately.

Episode 3 of Truth Talks is one of the bravest conversations I’ve had so far.
A few weeks ago, Jess reached out to me following my posts about mean girl culture in the wellness world. What followed was a conversation that went much deeper.
In this episode, Jess shares her experience of spending nine years inside a yoga organisation that she has since come to recognise as having many of the characteristics of a cult.
What struck me most was that it didn’t start out looking dangerous. It looked inspiring, supportive, empowering - a place to belong.
Which raises a much bigger question:
How do communities that begin with connection and healing sometimes drift into control, exclusion, fear and unquestioning loyalty?
Together, we explore:
✨ The human need to belong
✨ Charismatic leadership
✨ Love bombing and loyalty
✨ Why people stay
✨ What it takes to leave
✨ Receiving divine guidance at your darkest hour
✨ The difference between community and control
This is a conversation about power, influence, belonging and learning to trust ourselves. Thank you to Jess for being brave enough to tell her story, and we hope you enjoy listening.
🎙️ Episode 3 of Truth Talks is available now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Link in bio.
⚠️ Please note: this episode includes discussion of cult-like dynamics, manipulation, coercive control and emotional harm. Please listen with care if these topics feel sensitive for you.
I’d love to hear your thoughts once you’ve listened.

✨ Rhythms of the Divine ✨
Live and totally free on Zoom, with a replay included if you can’t make it live on Thursdays at 7am. We start this week!
This is a sacred half hour at the start of your day, to gather in community, and connect with the deeper rhythm within.
You don’t need any special knowledge, or to have done anything like this before.
At the start of each session, I will share the Mantra (sacred sound) and Mudra (hand gesture) to support us each week.
There’ll be 10 minutes of chanting, which you are welcome to join in with or receive, followed by 10 minutes to journal anything that came up for you during the chant (with optional journal prompts).
The final 10 minutes will be guided somatic, embodied movement, so we can stretch and shake and release heaviness and tension to greet the day ahead with a deeper connection to the divine wisdom flowing within YOU.
The only thing you need to do in order to join is comment below or DM me the word DIVINE and I will send you the link to join!
Can’t wait to share this beautiful practice with you.

Most people don’t come to me because they want to perfect a yoga pose; they come because something in their life no longer fits.
That might be a relationship, a career, a version of themselves, or a way of coping that used to work but doesn’t anymore.
They’re often exhausted from thinking about it, talking about it, and going round in circles about it.
And yet the answers they’re looking for often aren’t in their head; they’re in their body: in the knot in the stomach, the tight chest, the felt sense of knowing that something needs to change.
I’ve been there.
And now, whether through weekly classes, one-to-one somatic mentoring, retreats or events, my work is about helping people come back into relationship with their own body wisdom.
Not because your body has ALL the answers, but because it often knows things your mind hasn’t caught up with yet.
If you’re feeling stuck between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming, perhaps that’s where we start.
✨ Classes, mentoring, retreats and online practice.

Confession:
I have a healthy distrust of anyone who claims they can completely transform your life in a single healing session, which is probably why I enjoyed this conversation so much.
In Episode 2 of Truth Talks, I’m joined by Alex Cutler from The Wellbeing Atelier. We talk about grief, burnout, Reiki, healing, and what happens when life brings you to your knees and asks you to begin again.
We also discuss why people are often happy to accept some invisible forces but not others, and why curiosity is a much more interesting place to stand than certainty.
No guru energy, magic wands, or pretending life is always love and light here!
Just an honest conversation between two women who have both had to find their way through some difficult seasons.
