A fantastic club away day at Hull parkrun this morning! 🌳🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

There was a sea of blue around the course, with a splash of orange mixed in, as our members proudly represented the club in their race kit and training tops. 🔵⚪️⚫️

It was great to see such a strong turnout from the club, with members supporting each other every step of the way. We celebrated a couple of shiny new PBs, several course PBs, and some brilliant teamwork as members paced others to impressive performances 🙌

It’s always great to see the club spirit on display away from home. Well done everyone who joined us! 👏

Now for the important question… where are we heading for our next parkrun away day? 🤔🌳

Amazing turnout from the club, with over 50 members taking part! 🙌

We had new PBs and course PBs galore, well done to everyone who participated! 👏

A big thank you to for putting on another brilliant event! I’m sure plenty of us will be back next year! 🫶

Always a highlight of the SADRC away run calendar, Phill once again put together a selection of brilliant trail routes for everyone to enjoy around the farm 🌾

And, of course, no visit would be complete without cake waiting at the finish! 🍰

What a brilliant evening with an amazing turnout of 77 runners — the highest attendance of the series so far! 🙌 As always, a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers for making the event possible.

With the warm conditions, it certainly wasn’t an easy night to race a 5K, so a massive well done to everyone who got out there and gave it their all! ☀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🏅Medal Monday🏅

Yesterday we had members representing the club in Leeds and Beverley.

Lee Green ran his 3rd marathon in 7 weeks at a tough and undulating Leeds Marathon finishing in a time of 3:37. Kudos Lee 👏🏼

We had around 10 members racing in Beverley for their yearly 10k. An undulating course with a quick second half finishing in the market town. Well done to all that ran, some great times 💪🏻

Another great week of SADRC members racing.

Next weekend is our home race, The Big Green 10k.

Next Sunday (17th May) at The Big Green Scunthorpe 10K, hosted by Curly’s Athletes, Scunthorpe & District Running Club will be providing a full team of pacers to help you hit your target time! ⏱️

We’ll have pacers at every 5-minute interval from 40 minutes right through to 70 minutes, whether you’re chasing a PB, aiming for a steady effort, or just looking for support around the course, we’ve got you covered 🙌
