U10s → Morriston 3G - go show ‘em we shine even when it’s pouring!

U12s → Penlan to take on Rockspur - watch you sparkle in the drizzle!

U14s → HOME at Penrhos! Ammanford come to visit - let’s make our pitch a fortress (and dodge the puddles!)

U16s → HOME at Penrhos - WWGL CUP ACTION vs Banc! Big cup vibes, bigger waterproof jackets ☔

Women’s Team → Road trip to Mumbles to tackle Newton Athletics - sea breeze + showers = ultimate test! 🌊⚽️

Today, on Su***de Prevention Day, we want to remind everyone that you are never alone.

At Ystradgynlais AFC, we believe football is about so much more than what happens on the pitch. We are a football family, a community, and a place where people can come together, have a chat, laugh, support each other and simply be themselves.

If you're struggling, feeling overwhelmed, or just not feeling like yourself, please talk to someone. You don't have to have all the answers, and you don't have to face things on your own.

Whether you're a player, coach, volunteer, parent, supporter or simply someone from our community, our door is always open. Sometimes, a conversation over a cup of tea, a walk around the pitch or just having someone listen can make a difference.

And remember, you don't need to wait until things are really bad before asking for help.

⚽️ Season Opener: Moustaches, Screams & 60 Seconds of Glory! 😂
West Wales Women & Girls League

We rolled up to Mynydd Newydd dummy club ready, full squad of 18 AND rocking our finest moustaches! 🥸 No short benches, no borrowing people from the cafe, just 18 moustachioed legends ready to go!

Both teams battled hard all game, proper end-to-end stuff! Then 58 mins Penlan broke the deadlock. 1-0. But did our moustaches droop? NO WAY!

79th min, CHAOS - Tilly stepped up to take a corner… and decided “I’ll just put this straight in the net shall I?” A SCREAMER from the corner flag! 1-1! Absolute scenes for our women!

…for ONE WHOLE MINUTE. 80 mins, Penlan went “nope” and belted in a screamer of their own. 2-1. Classic football, joy is a 60-second window!

Could’ve gone either way, brilliant football from both sides, what women's football is all about!

The new season’s here, and we’ve got drama, skill, and that goal everyone’s gonna be talking about for months! 🔥

U12s: What A Start!
First seeding game at Penrhos vs Garden Village and these girls turned up ready. Opponents were slick and well-drilled. Not the win they were hoping for but coaches were super proud of the girls today!

U14s: Headed to Mumbles Rangers, things didn’t go exactly to plan… but let’s be real, that just means they’re saving the really good stuff for next week. Determination levels? Through the roof. Watch out world, they’re coming back stronger! 💪

U16s:COULD’VE GONE EITHER WAY…
Absolute thriller vs Talycopa! End-to-end, proper football, both sides giving everything. Could’ve gone our way, could’ve gone theirs, and in the end Taly took it 1-0. But performances like that? The wins are so close. Onwards and upwards! 📈

WOMENS: v PENLAN, THAT GAME. THAT GOAL. 🤯
What. A. Match. Penlan took the lead early… and then, Tilly said “Hold my eyelash curler” and absolutely launched one straight from the corner flag into the back of the net 🥅 Screamer!! Absolute worldie. Penlan then said “oh okay, challenge accepted” and smashed one right back, 2 - 1 Two teams going toe-to-toe, proper football, proper drama! What a advert for the game! ⚽️🔥
