Our Grenadian female rising stars, Jaeda Tyrell and Devona Tyson departed the Tri-island state for Antigua to join their fellow Windward Island U-19 teammates as they prepare for the CWI Rising Stars U-19 Women’s Championship Tournament.

The Tournament will be held from August 6th to 16th. We wish Jaeda, Devona and team Windward Islands all the best! ⭐️⭐️

Teddy Bishop put on an absolute clinic at Tanteen!🍿⚡

Scoring 83 runs off just 46 deliveries with a strike rate of 180.43, Teddy single-handedly anchored Grenada to a dominant position versus St. Lucia. Bishop accounted for 55% of the team's total boundary production (7 fours, 5 sixes), dictating a 107-run second-wicket partnership between himself and Jevon Andrew (37*).

GRENADA TAKES THIRD! 🇬🇩🥉

It's back-to-back wins for the Spicemen to finish their campaign on a high🙌

The weather held just enough for the third place playoff to get underway, albeit reduced to just 20 overs per side. St Lucia opted to bat first, posting 166 all out in 19.3 overs. Stephen Naitram top-scored for St Lucia with 38 runs from 18 balls. Grenada's bowling effort highlights featured Jeron Noel's 2/10, Kirtsen Murray's 2/19, and Nicklaus Redhead's 2/29.

In the second innings, Grenada chased down the target in 17.5 overs, finishing at 167/2 with 13 balls to spare. Teddy Bishop led the successful chase with 83 runs off 46 balls, accompanied by an unbeaten 37* from Jevon Andrew.

Grenada's dominant 8-wicket win gave the home side a good end to their campaign, however it also signs off a disappointing tournament for last year's champions, St. Lucia, who finish in 4th place.

DOMINICA ARE CHAMPIONS!!🇩🇲🏆💪7️⃣6️⃣7️⃣

Dominica makes it 2 championships in 3 years with win that exemplifies the importance of fighting until the very end.

Earsinho Fontaine's fantastic 90 runs from 91 balls and Stephan Pascal's 57 from 70 balls gave Dominica a first innings score of 248 from 44.3 overs. The reliable trio of Kenneth Dember (3) Kodi Grant (2), and Asif Hooper (2) took the wickets for St. Vincent and the Grenadines who would need to better Dominica's score within 45 overs to win.

Ethan Gibson and Desron Maloney combined for another big Vincentian opening stand of 94 before Maloney became Micah Joseph's first victim. The Vincentians would fight onwards through some rough patches created by Jedd Joseph's 3-wickets spell, with SVG eventually recovering to 225 for 7 (requiring just 24 to win from 36 balls). The game seemed to be slipping away from Dominica but Micah Joseph's reintroduction put an end to that worry. Micah took 2 quick wickets which opened the door for Gilon Tyson to land the final blow. Micah finished with figures of 4 for 29 while Tyson took 2 for 41

St. Vincent and the Grenadines lost their last 3 wickets for just 2 runs with Dominica's perseverance displaying exactly why they deserved to be the Champions.

An unchanged 11 for our final encounter in this year’s Windward Island Senior Men Super 50 Cup. We take on Saint Lucia in the third place show down hoping to repeat yesterday’s fortunes.

After some much needed rest, we are back at it today in the final round matches before Finals day. Two changes to our playing 11 as we take on Saint Lucia: Preston Mc Sween & Jade Matthew out Nicklaus Redhead and Jeron Noel in.

With one round of preliminary matches to go, it's still everything to play for. Tomorrow, Dominica will take on the table-toppers, SVG, at Tanteen. Meanwhile, St. Lucia returns to La Sagesse to take on Grenada , who are winless thus far in the tournament.
