We have decided as a club to suspend all football activities indefinitely, effective immediately. Hopefully this crisis passes quickly and we can get back to training. In the meantime, best wishes for everyone who is part of the Harvey Vale community and Carriacou.

Two great matches yesterday at the Stadium in Lauriston as Carriacou hosted for the first time international friendlies between the Grenada and St. Vincent Women’s Football Teams! We had a couple boys from the Harvey Vale Football Club helping out on the sidelines…a great opportunity to see amazing football up close and personal!

The Harvey Vale Football Club is calling all Under 13 and Under 10 players to participate in a four-week, 5v5 Grassroots League starting next weekend on the 16th!
This will be the first league of its kind here and is being organized by the Grenada Sports & Well-Being Foundation in coordination with the Carriacou & Petite Martinique Football Association.
The ultimate goal is to create on-going football opportunities for players of all ages and abilities throughout the year.
We will be having our first practices this week at the Park in Harvey Vale on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 3pm.
Please pass the word on to your siblings, cousins, friends, and family so we can get a good turnout!

Yesterday marked the first time that the Harvey Vale Football Club took the pitch!
While the final score line with the team losing 6-1 sounds crushing, the reality is that beside a bad run of luck in the opening minutes and two beautiful goals against in the waning minutes, the Harvey Vale Hurricanes were the team to beat in this match.
Despite never having played together on a full pitch and starting a man short (plus fielding probably the oldest player in the league), the ‘Canes produced a number of scoring chances, particularly in the second half, with Kobe and Andy leading the way. Kelon brought the crowd of over 100 fans to their feet multiple times with brilliant diving saves, including one penalty. Devon controlled the midfield and set the intense, but respectful, tone for the entire squad.
The loudest cheers, however, came when Joshua, a local Lauriston favourite, netted two nearly identical shots from the sideline mere minutes apart, lofting the ball perfectly over the keeper and into the side netting. His cartwheel at midfield after the second put a smile on everyone’s face, apart from the HVFC players who had left everything on the field.
At the end of the day, we at HVFC want to salute the Carriacou and Petite Martinique Football Association for starting this league. They won because we all played!
