I would like to raise a matter which happened at 21:09hrs last night at the Dive Carriacou Dive shop. We had an intruder try and remove the CCTV camera and gain entry and the locked doors. It was caught on video. The young man was walking up from the bottom of the bay area and can be seen walking around trying to avoid detection.
If anyone knows of anything happening last night with other properties in Tyrell bay please kindly report. This has been reported to the local Police and they are aware.

Well we ran out of boat primer yesterday, so what better to fill some time and try and see if we could make some Scottish Scones 😉. We are maybe 6000 miles from our Scottish birth place, but some things you get a craving for lol 😆. Good old fashioned traditional Scottish Scones yum yum served up with butter, cream and jam 😋

Dive Carriacou would like to take this opportunity to recommend this multi award nominated BAFTA movie ( I Swear ). This is close to our hearts as John worked with Paul our Director for a period of time. John is a amazing person and has a heart of gold. John has done so much over the years to raise the awareness of Tourette's. Please take the time to watch this movie and hopefully afterwards you will understand what a Tick is.

I Swear (2025) is a Scottish biographical drama directed by Kirk Jones, telling the true-life story of Tourette's syndrome campaigner John Davidson. Starring Robert Aramayo, the film follows Davidson's struggles with, and triumph over, severe Tourette's in 1980s Britain. It explores his journey from social alienation to becoming a recognized advocate, featuring a supporting cast including Maxine Peake, Shirley Henderson, and Peter Mullan.

Its Sunday morning on Carriacou and time to relax and tune in and see what is happening on this year's Dakar Rallye.

For those that do not know our Director/ Owner Paul Prentice has not always been a Scuba Diving Instructor.

On this day back in 2008 he was busy dealing with navigating through sand Dunes taller that houses in the middle of the Sahara Desert while enjoying his time on the Paris Dakar the toughest and most dangerous motor Rallye in the world.
In some ways it feels just like yesterday. What an amazing experience to be able to have these memories of this once in a life time adventure.
It brought back some fantastic memories and experiences and also successfully completed all the way to the end DAKAR.
He is proud to say he can wear the Dakar sticker on his bike with pride.
For those that don't know! why not tune in and watch the last remaining days of this year's Dakar Rallye. Its pure none stop action, cars , motorbikes and of course the huge 6 wheeler trucks.

These bears have travelled all the way from Bonnie Scotland to the Island of Carriacou in the Caribbean. It looks like they are enjoying some relaxation time at Paridise Beach Club. I am sure they are enjoying some delicious mocktails before going for a lovely Snorkel or maybe even Scuba Diving 😆 🤣
