Dive Carriacou had the pleasure of meeting this couple from England who are sailing around the world on there Yacht. They decided that since they are spending over a year out sailing in the sea ,they wanted to also explore the underwater world. So they decided it was only fit to become PADI trained as Open Water Scuba Divers.

Dive Carriacou was delighted to make this happen for them while they spend the time in Carriacou.

Well its been a long time coming.

However we have our first group of divers today wanting a two tank guided scuba dive on just a few of Carriacou's amazing underwater sites.

We are proud to report they all had a fantastic time exploring the marine life Including reefs and wrecks.

🚨 MISSING BOAT – HELP NEEDED 🚨

Calling on all boat owners, fishermen, and persons traveling within the waters around Kick ’em Jenny and nearby areas to please keep a sharp lookout.

An 18-foot boat, purple, white, and with some blue, reportedly went missing last night after experiencing engine trouble. A distress call was made around 8:00 PM, and the vessel’s last known location was in the area shown on the map around 1:00am this morning.

Two persons were onboard, from Carriacou.

We are asking anyone who may have been in the area, traveled that route, or noticed anything unusual at sea to immediately report any sightings or information — no matter how small.

📞 Please contact 911 – Grenada Coast Guard immediately with any information.

Every minute counts. Let us come together as a people and help bring these men home safely.
