The program, held once per month from July to December, engaged a cohort of 16 junior athletes aged 14–18, nominated by their respective federations. Through virtual mentorship, interactive workshops, and collaborative learning, participants developed core athletic skills, leadership capacity, and mental preparedness while balancing academics and personal development.

“This program was designed to go beyond sport. Our goal was to equip young athletes with the tools, confidence, and values needed to succeed in all areas of life. The growth we have witnessed throughout this cohort reaffirms the importance of mentorship within our sporting community.”
Mentee Quote-(Carvon James-Triathlon):
“The Grenada Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission program strengthened my discipline, focus, and confidence, while helping me understand how to balance sport, academics, and personal growth. It gave me a clear vision of what it truly takes to succeed as a high-performance athlete.”
Mentor Quote (Thornia Mitchell – Beach Volleyball):
“Mentorship bridged the gap between potential and excellence. By investing in these young athletes, we didn’t just share knowledge—we helped shape the next generation of leaders in sport.”
