Some beautiful dives this morning kicked off with a visit to the swimming pool on the Bianca C. This impressive nearly 600’ long ship has been under the surface in Grenada since Oct 1961 and now sits in 55m of water with recreational diver access between 30-40m / 100-130’. Accessible to advanced divers only she is no longer a wreck that allows interior exploration but carries all the personality in her size, angles, shadows, stories and experiences. These ambush predators with a face a mother loves are masters of disguise & patience as they perch and wait for lunch to swim past. They have a nearly invisible angler lure that extends from their forehead luring in little fish so they can inhale them in a burst of short lived movement.

Entirely harmless to humans but a highlight for divers. Divers keep your eyes out and ask us where we’ve been finding this blue grey beauty 🤩
