A few years ago, an experienced team introduced a training program for horseback tour guides in Georgia, implemented by the โAdventure Tourism School.โ One of the projectโs partners and sponsors is โLost Ridge Ranch โ Equestrian Center of Horseback Georgiaโ, whose support has made it possible for this engaging course to be held for the fourth time.
The program is designed for practicing guides who already have experience working with horses and leading horseback tours.
The course includes:
Fundamentals of horsemanship: horse care, its physiological and psychological characteristics, and the relationship between horses within a herd and with humans; as well as a saddling course; Key competencies in adventure tourism: tour planning, guest care, navigation, risk management, and incident response; Organization of equestrian expeditions: planning and conducting both one-day and multi-day training tours.
The training process was led by trainers and experts in the relevant fields.
We would like to thank the participants, initiators, and everyone who supported the project: Gujabidze, Tabagari, David Rakviashvili, Goletiani, Kharkhelauri, Bichinashvili, Kvitsiani, Tatanashvili, Jabanashvili, and the best ever Lost Ridge team!
