Iâm Sharing because I hope I raises questions for all of us about who we want to be, our values and being on the Journey to knowing what they are - and who you are :
Morning
The final session of the Heroâs Journey is an initiation ceremony
Never before in history has our culture had such a wide spectrum on what it means to be a man.
We are not here to tell you what is or what isnât - thatâs not our place.
What this process does however, is to create a container that both compassionate and strong - so that you can individually define your own set of values.
This is what we talk about when we use a word like âempowermentâ
Itâs yours and itâs celebrated, supported and not judged - literally âbe your own manâ
In tribal cultures for thousands of years boys would mark manhood with a ceremony or ritual - a rite of passage.
In many cases the boy would change his name and his new role in the community would clearly be defined.
We donât have that in our culture
Thankfully we are going to leave out the really painful parts like the Amazon tribe that has the boys putting their hands in gloves filled with fire ants ! đ (maybe thatâs for our second course later in the year!)
What we will do though, is⊠with a blazing fire, and Mike on the drum - have a literal bridge that each man can cross into his own version of his new self.

Welcome gentlemen!
Weâre very, very excited to be launching the âHeroâs Journeyâ on the 26th March. For the past 6 months weâve been working hard on a transformative 4 week course for men to explore and fulfil our potential, and to build a long lasting community of supportive brothers.
