Congratulations to the Guernsey Team who won the 86th Inter-insular competition between Guernsey and Jersey on Saturday.

There were smiles all round as Guernsey will be holding on to all four trophies for the next year :)

Commiserations to Jersey as is was a close match with hard fought battles on every board, and could easily have gone the other way.

Guernsey won the Hollis trophy with a score of 9-7.
Arita Strade and Jon Hawes shared the honours on board one with a draw and are joint Channel Islands Champions.
Hamish Olson defeated Paul Wojciechowski on board two, winning the Garde Trophy.
Daniel Cummins defeated Matthew McConnell in the reserves match.

The Jersey junior team defeated the Guernsey juniors with a score of 8-2.
