Listen men

God forgave prostitutes, but when it was time to decide a mother for his son, he picked a decent woman who said LET IT BE ACCORDING TO THY WORD.

Learn from God.

30/08/2026

There are people who want the benefits of God without the discipline of belonging to God. They want answers, but they do not want alignment. They want divine intervention, but they have no interest in divine instruction. They want the hand of God, but they keep rejecting the house where God is shaping them.

That is a contradiction because the Church is not merely a building you visit when you need a miracle.

*The Church is a spiritual environment where your understanding is corrected, your character is confronted, your faith is strengthened, and your destiny is brought into Apostllic alignment.
Jesus said:

_*“Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”*_
Matthew 16:18 KJV

This Sunday, at our Sweet covenat Service, we continue our powerful Aoostolic series on
*YOU AND THE CHURCH*

* Come with your Heart prepared for unchanging truth.

* Come with your Bible, notebook, and pen

* Come with your questions.

* Come with the parts of your life you have been afraid to confront.

But most importantly, come ready to hear truth.
Because sometimes what you need is not another prophecy. Sometimes you need instruction.
Sometimes you do not need someone to tell you what is coming.

You need someone to confront what is keeping you from becoming.

THIS SUNDAY | 8:30AM
KING’S-CITY CHURCH AUDITORIUM

MINISTERING:
*PASTOR JEHOSHAPHAT*

Do not merely attend church. Come and understand your place in it.

YOU AND THE CHURCH.

I AM EXPECTING YOU.

Marriage is not a rehabilitation centre for broken people. It is a relationship in which two people's existing strengths, weaknesses, wounds, habits, beliefs and character eventually become impossible to hide.

MARRIAGE IS FIRST AND ULTIMATELY CULTURAL NOT RELIGIOUS.

Not every man who calls you brother is your brother.

Some men can tolerate your struggle but become uncomfortable with your success. They will eat with you, laugh with you, learn your weaknesses, study your ambitions, and still betray you when jealousy, insecurity, or competition takes control of their character.

The most dangerous betrayal does not always come from an enemy.

Sometimes, it comes from a man who had access to you. A friend.
A colleague. A partner. A brother.

WEAK MEN BETRAY MEN by Dr Jehoshaphat Quartey, The Class-Master, is a hard confrontation with the darker side of male relationships in terms of hidden rivalry, envy, disloyalty, approval-seeking, resentment and the weakness that makes one man secretly desire the downfall and destruction of another.

But this book will not merely unvail to you how to identify dangerous men. It will force you to examine yourself.

* Can another man succeed without making you feel smaller?

* Can you disagree without becoming destructive?

* Can you keep another man's confidence after the friendship ends?

* Can you celebrate a brother whose life is moving faster than yours?

* Can another man trust you when there is nothing for you to gain from him?

Because betrayal is not strength. Jealousy is not an ambition. Competition is not brotherhood, and a man who must destroy another man to feel powerful has already exposed his weakness.

Read this book before you call everybody, brother. More importantly, read it before you become the kind of man another man should fear trusting.

THIS IS THE MEN'S FACTORY.
We Are Fixing Ourselves.

Listen to me, my beloved woman.

This short video may appear paradoxical, but it carries a profound lesson about female psychology. This is not an attempt to suggest that women are bad or irrational. It is an invitation to understand the power of emotion and the responsibility that comes with emotional maturity.

You did not make yourself. Nature gave you the capacity to feel deeply, connect deeply, love deeply and respond intensely. But the same nature that gave you emotions also places a demand upon you: you must grow beyond being controlled by what you feel.

Your emotions are real, but everything you feel is not necessarily true. Anger can be real without your interpretation being correct. Pain can be genuine without your conclusion being accurate. Disappointment can be justified without the decision you make in that moment being wise.

This is where emotional immaturity becomes dangerous. When emotion takes complete control of consciousness, a person can say things she never intended to say, make decisions she never intended to make and walk away from relationships she never intended to lose. The tragedy is that the emotion may disappear, but the consequences of the decision may remain.

The Bible says, “He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.” Proverbs 14:29 KJV.

There is a profound principle hidden in this scripture. The pause between emotion and action is where wisdom operates. Being slow to wrath does not mean that you do not feel. It means that you refuse to allow what you feel in one moment to determine what you do for the rest of your life.

Your emotions should be heard, but they should also be examined. They are signals, not always instructions. Sometimes anger is telling you that something matters. Sometimes pain is revealing an unresolved wound. Sometimes disappointment is exposing an expectation that was never communicated. But none of these automatically means, “Leave. Destroy. Reject. End it.”

A woman who has learned emotional maturity does not ask only, “How do I feel?” She also asks, “Why do I feel this way? Is what I am feeling consistent with reality? And if I act on this emotion, what will the consequences be?”

That is the difference between experiencing an emotion and being governed by it.

Some relationships have been destroyed by words spoken during temporary emotional storms. Some marriages have been abandoned because someone made a permanent decision while experiencing a temporary feeling. Some people have lost what they genuinely valued because they mistook emotional intensity for absolute truth.

The awakening is simple but uncomfortable: you are responsible for what you do with what you feel. You may not have chosen your emotional nature, but you are responsible for developing emotional discipline and emotional intelligence.

So feel deeply, but think deeply. Love deeply, but discern deeply. Be angry, but do not surrender your judgement to anger. Because your emotions are part of you, but they were never designed to become your master. Sometimes the most important question you can ask yourself is not, “What am I feeling?”

It is:
“What is actually true?”
That question can save a relationship, a marriage, and sometimes, your own future.

Sometimes the silence does not mean you have been abandoned. Sometimes you are being guided in ways you do not yet understand.

PREGNANCY IS NOT A MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A woman becoming pregnant for you does not automatically make her your wife.
This truth may sound harsh, but wisdom is not measured by how comfortable it makes people feel. Wisdom is measured by whether it protects you from avoidable destruction.
One of the greatest mistakes of modern relationships is the assumption that a pregnancy should immediately become a marriage contract.
Two people engage in unprotected intimacy, a child is conceived, and suddenly society declares, “Now you must marry.”
But marriage is not a reward for pregnancy.
Marriage is a lifelong covenant built on compatibility, character, values, vision, maturity, and intentional choice.
Before you give someone your name, your future, your resources, and your destiny, there should be a process of understanding.
1. Have you studied her character?
2. Have you examined her emotional maturity?
3. Have you understood her beliefs about marriage?
4. Do you know whether she desires partnership, dependency, or true companionship?
5. Have you discussed finances, family values, gender roles, faith, parenting, conflict resolution, and life goals?
6. Do you understand her past, not to condemn her, but to understand the person you are committing your future to?
7. Do you know if your values align beyond physical attraction?
Many people investigate a house before buying it. They inspect a car before purchasing it. They research an investment before putting money into it. Yet some people enter the most serious covenant of their lives with less preparation than they use for ordinary decisions. Then years later, they wonder why the marriage is full of conflict.
The pregnancy did not create the problem. The lack of wisdom before commitment created the problem.
Ask yourself a difficult question:
Why are there so many broken homes, single parents, bitter marriages, and abandoned families?
Because
1. Many people married a situation instead of marrying a person.
2. They responded to pressure instead of pursuing wisdom.
3. They reacted to a consequence instead of following a process.
A child deserves a father and a mother who are committed, but a child should not become the chain that forces two incompatible people into a lifetime arrangement.
Marriage should not happen because of fear, guilt, family pressure, or public opinion.Marriage should happen because two mature people have examined each other and consciously chosen to build together.
Do not say, “I will marry once and marry right.”
The deeper question is:
Did you follow the process required to choose right? Because refusing the process can lead you into a marriage you were never prepared for.
And remember this:
A pregnancy can create a child, but only wisdom can create a successful marriage.
People say the snail and tortoise are slow. They are not slow. They’re carrying the weight of their houses. People not carrying any weight should not pressure you.
Let the cheetah carry its house too and let’s see how fast it can also run. Special appreciation to us still moving in spite of the weight we carry.
