Dear All,

On 14 September 2026, we announced the change of our competition name from Ghana Junior Olympics to Ghana Kids Athletics Games, following copyright infringement regarding the use of the word “Olympic.”

Since that announcement, we have received numerous calls, emails and messages from parents, coaches, athletics enthusiasts and supporters asking us to reconsider the new name. We truly appreciate the feedback and passion shown by everyone.

This competition belongs to the young athletes, their families and the entire athletics community, and we have listened to you.

Therefore, by popular request, we are pleased to announce that the competition will now be known as:

GHANA JUNIOR ATHLETICS

A new name, but the same vision and commitment to creating opportunities for young athletes to discover their potential, develop their talents and build lasting memories through athletics.

It is our game. It is your game. Together, let’s make it stronger, bigger and better.
