GRNMA ROUNDS UP GAR TOUR WITH A GRAND DURBAR AT TEMA GENERAL HOSPITAL -18/3/2026
The national executive committee of the Ghana registered Nurses and midwives association successfully ended their tour of the Greater Accra region yesterday with a grand durbar hosted by the Tema district branch.
Day 2 of the tour commenced with a visit to the Kpone Hospital where a mini durbar was organised for the team led by the President of the association, Mrs. Perpetual Ofori Ampofo to interact with members in the facility.
The President, in her address, assured members present that concerns raised will be forwarded to the minister of health and other stakeholders for redress.
The next stop was at the Tema General Hospital, where a courtesy call was made to the management of the hospital. The acting nurse manager, together with the heads of finance and human resources, welcomed the entourage on behalf of the medical supt and other management members who were out on an equally important assignment.
The President used the moment to appreciate the support offered to nurses and midwives in the facility and pleaded for more on behalf of our members.
The team then zoomed into the grand durbar, which offered members from all parts of the region the opportunity to seek answers directly from leadership on a barage of issues.
Members left the venue quite satisfied and called for more of such engagements.
The regional leadership wishes to thank the national executive team led by our President, Mrs. Perpetual Ofori Ampofo for taking time of their busy schedule to engage members within our region, and wish the team God's guidance as they travel to other part of the country.
Our sincere gratitude also goes to all our cherished nurses and midwives who contributed in diverse ways to make the visit from NEC a memorable one.
Let's all continue to collaborate in building an enviable regional branch.
UNITY IS STRENGTH
