Ark Hockey Academy regrettably announces the death of promising Ark Men's Rashid Adams who died after battling a short illness. This news comes as a blow to all of us because we hoped he would get better soon and join us on the pitch this season. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family as we celebrate the life of a dear athlete.

May he rest in peace 🕊️.

At the one-day field hockey tournament held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, Ghana’s Ark Ladies suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Nigeria’s Kada Queens in a tightly contested encounter. Ark Ladies showed determination and resilience throughout the match but were unable to find the equalizer after conceding the only goal of the game.

In the men’s category, Ark Men endured a difficult outing as they fell 5-0 to Kada Stars. The Nigerian side displayed attacking strength and took control of the game early, securing a convincing victory at the end of the contest.

Despite the disappointing results, both Ark teams demonstrated commitment and sportsmanship during the tournament and will hope to return stronger in future competitions.
