The Athletic Project Committee Leadership through Chairman Nana Brogya Sarpong continued the Journey of fulfilling the dream of the project in the United States of America. New Jersey, Beverly Hills, and New York were the cities that hoste the project Project Chairman between the 25-27 March 2023.

During a visit to philanthropist and Plastic Surgeon, Snr. Dr. Michael Obeng on his 50th birthday on 25th March, he discussed project support which received favourable response. Additionally, Chairman Nana Brogya Sarpong took the opportunity to also meet a delegation of indigenes of the Agogo traditional area where he draws traditional authority.

Later, he met with Snr. Wahid Hage of Wconsult Sports International, Lead Consultant for the Athletic Oval Project. Over the years his consultancy has been dedicated to sports development and consistent support to Prempeh College.

Subsequently, a road map for the next phase of the project was discussed and documented for the approval from the planning committee.

Further, the Chairman visited track and field edifices strengthening his conviction and drive to see to the success of the project. Chairman Nana Brogya Sarpong is the third project planning committee member to make visits to track and field infrastructure
after Snrs Peter Agyeman(Robotics) and Stallon Nyarko(Ministry of Communications), all facilitated by Snr Wahid Hage.

In view of such visits, talks are underway with "The Track at New Balance" an organization under the Umbrella of New Balance Sports USA, dedicated to building Track & Field facilities to look into our proposal and consider supporting.

Similar support seeking proposals have been submitted to Ghana Gas, GMPC, MTN and other targeted Corporate organizations.

As the mantra goes "It can be done, it must be done" - we are committed to delivering this highly impactful project.

The conversation turned from Endorsement to Support. He was extremely happy to play a role and appreciated the timing of the project and his involvement.
Our endorsement project in Greater Accra will be climaxed with a Visit to the executives of our Alumni association, before heading to the Ashanti Region.

We were guests to Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, Global President of Odade3 Alumni Group, who has not only shown interest in our project but pledged his support.

Beyond our enviable academic credentials, the laurels from participating in various sporting competitions over the years, have contributed immensely to our enviable status as one of the most prestigious learning institutions in Ghana and on the African continent.

Prempeh College is today one of the giants in Soccer, Hockey, Athletics, and other sporting disciplines, as far as Senior High
school competitions are concerned. With the investments made over the years in the development of sports in the college, we are proud of the numerous successes chalked.
Nonetheless, the world is witnessing a speedy revolution in sports and athletics activities, making sports a more scientific activity that requires modern and state-of-the-art resources.

A section of the old boys' association of Prempeh College has therefore acknowledged the need for an athletics oval and stadium which would house modern facilities for the various sporting disciplines. These sports facilities are envisaged not to merely add value to the landscape, boasting rights, and visibility of the College, but to serve a significant purpose as the development of our students and athletes is concerned.
