Sulley Muntary Exempt Himself From The Dormaa Trip

Information gathered is that, 37 year old Sulley Ali Muntary told coach Samuel Boadu yesterday after training to remove his name from the squad that will be traveling to Dormaa to play against Aduana Stars in Ghana Premier League match day 20 due to the long distance from Accra to Dormaa as he has decided not to travel to a long distance where there is no Airport for a plane to land.

The Phobians have departed from the Capital (Accra), they will stop over in Kumasi and rest for some hours as they usually do whenever the team travels to Brong Ahafo and Northern Region before continues their journey to the destination.

Exclusive:Players and Coaches status committee of the Ghana Football Association has ordered Legon Cities to pay their former midfielder, Elvis Opoku ¢90,000 within 14 days for abrogating the player's contract unlawfully.

Information gathered is that, the former Aduana player is to be paid ¢60,000 as his enticement fee plus ¢30,000 as his year salary by the club.

Information gathered by Silver sports is that, Chief Executive Officer James Essilfie has threatened to resign from the club.

A close source hinted that, he has already tendered his resignation letter but the bank roller of the club, Moses Armah Parker doesn't want to accept the letter for him to leave the club.

Mr Essilfie did not go with the team to Bechem when they lost by 4 goals to nothing last Sunday in the Ghana Premier League match day one.

Exclusive: Information gathered by Silver sports is that, Godfred Asiamah has been recalled to train with goalkeeper's trainer Joe Baah, at AJ training ground by the Asante Kotoko management.

The said player who was told to go on loan by coach Prosper Nettey Ogum according to management started training today 14th October, 2021.

The former Ashanti Gold winger and his manager earlier requested the termination of their contract, demanded for their one year enticement fee and five (5) months salary arrears hence the decision to start training by the management.

Just in: Legon Cities have written to the Ghana Football Association that, their midfielder Elvis Opoku is no where to be found since they started their pre season after the player reported them to the players and coaches status committee that, the club has not paid him for six months and he wants to be a free player.

But information gathered that, the said player has been given two months salary out of six by the club when the GFA communicated to them that, Elvis Opoku has reported them to the status committee.

Exclusive: Information gathered by Silver sports is that, former Asante Kotoko coach Paa Kwesi Fabien has been given the national under - 17 team by the Ghana Football Association.

Asante Kotoko 12 member board yesterday met His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu ll. During the meeting, the board chairman Dr Kwame Kyei begged the club owner he wants to resign from the board but the King of Asanteman declined his request.

At the meeting, Otumfour humbly asked the board members to go and perform their duties as he no more has the intention of dissolving the board.

Majority of the board members told Otumfour that, Dr Kwame Kyei is not acting well as board chairman at meetings.

The sole owner of the club charged the board of directors should check the CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah well on contracts and partnerships he brings into the club.

Manhyia chief of staff Mr Kofi Badu together with the board of directors will meet the CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah to explain everything further when he comes from the Dubai trip.

Information gathered by Silver sports is that, Asante Kotoko board led by Dr Kwame Kyei will tomorrow meet His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu ll at manhyia.

Before then, The board chairman Dr Kwame Kyei wanted to meet Otumfour but he couldn't had a chance.

Earlier on Mr Kwadwo Boateng Gyemfi who happens to be a communicator for the board had a chance to meet Otumfour in London last month to discuss some issues concerning the board. *Let's wait and see what will happen after the meeting*

Big blow to Hearts of Oak due to injury with two key players, Caleb Amankwaa and Emmanuel Nettey as they are likely to miss the big game against WAC of Morocco in the upcoming CAF Champions League at the Accra sports stadium on Sunday 17th October, 2021.

The said players have not reported to training after their first champions league game against Guenean club CL Kamsar when they beat them by 2 goals to nothing.

Again, Hearts management has written to CAF after the first game against CL Camsar to allow supporters to watch the game at the stadium but as it stands now the organizers are yet to reply the Phobian family.
