The International Island Games Association is made up of 24 Member Islands who come together every 2 years to compete in friendly competition in up to 14 sports. GIGA were affiliated to the International Island Games Association (IIGA) in 1987.

The GIGA family send our sincere condolences to Fabian’s family and friends. Fabian was a great athlete who took part in the 1987, 1989 and 1991 Island Games. In Aland 1991 he achieved a Silver Medal in 800m and a Bronze in 1500m. Above all Fabian was a great friend with a huge personality who always had time for everyone and made people smile. He took his athletics very seriously and also became a very committed coach. Rest in peace Fabian 🙏❤️
