Gibraltar finish as Rugby Europe Sevens Conference 2 runners-up after a 7-24 defeat to Slovakia in the final in Kosovo.
It was Gibraltar Rugby's first official Rugby Europe tournament and they reached the final.
The squad won all three pool games, beat Estonia in the semis, and left Kosovo with silverware. 🔴⚪🏉
Full-time in the Rugby Europe Sevens Conference 2 Final.

It wasn’t the ending we hoped for, but this team has made history.
In Gibraltar’s first official Rugby Europe tournament, the squad battled their way to the final and finished as Conference 2 runners-up — an incredible achievement and a proud moment for Gibraltar Rugby. 💪

Gibraltar are through to the final of the Rugby Europe Sevens Conference 2 tournament in Kosovo!
They topped Pool A without dropping a game, beating Bosnia & Herzegovina, San Marino and Montenegro to go through as group winners.
This morning they edged past Estonia 17-14 in a tight semi-final to book their place in the showpiece match.🏉
Slovakia stand between Gibraltar and the title, with the final taking place this afternoon.
